"It is about $400 yearly for the general pest spraying and about $300 for the termite bait traps and inspection. I have been using them for about 5 years and they are really good. I will use them again in the future."

"Lenard was very professional and thorough. I had discovered a scorpion the night before and he came out immediately the next day. I gave 4 stars because the cost was higher than I'm used to paying but I've also never had scorpion treatment so that may be a standard cost. He was the cheapest out of all the companies I called and he explains everything before and during."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

While foxes may find them unpleasant, mothballs are not an effective deterrent. Additionally, mothballs are toxic for humans and animals and should never be used outside. They contain naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which are very harmful to the environment. Use safer, more reliable deterrents, or hire a professional wildlife control expert.

Boric acid is among the harsher chemicals you can use in your home, and it poses risks whether ingested, inhaled, or touched. Kids and pets alike tend to put their hands and mouths on anything within reach, so it’s always a good idea to store boric acid in a spot they can’t get to and use it only when they’re not around for an extended period. When you use it, ensure they’re out of the house and fully clean up any trace of boric acid when you’re done because even a small amount can cause problems.

Aside from a warm, cozy place to curl up, you might wonder what attracts mice to your home. Several items attract mice, including: Birdseed Pet food Water Cereal and whole grains Food scraps from the composting bin Open trash cans High-fat and high-sugar foods Unused cars—they make great homes for chilly mice Insulation in the attic Clutter Brush from your yard, including leaves, sticks, wood, and shrubs (so mice can make nests) Overgrown trees or bushes—mice love to leap from branches onto the roof Indoor nesting materials, including cloth, paper, tissues, and toilet paper Tiny cracks in the siding or foundation

There aren’t any solutions that can rid your yard of mosquitoes for good. But with a good integrated management strategy that combines repellents, treatments, decluttering, and drainage, you can keep populations in check.

Regular cleaning, proper food storage, sealing entry points, and professional inspections help prevent infestations.
