Outstanding job on our new build home inspection by Michael and Travis today. They were efficient and thorough during the inspection and explained their findings as we went along in layman’s terms and had the local code manual to reference at hand should they need it. Their report was well...

I would NOT recommend this builder to anyone purchasing a new home. I recently purchased a brand new home built by them and due to my unfortunate circumstances of being in the military and overseas, while PCS'ing, I was not able to see the home in person prior to purchase. Being that it is a...

A bought a special coupon on Angieslist for $139 that was promising air duct cleaning and unlimited vents plus inspection. At the agreed time Dario and Michael came and inspected the system and gave a ball park estimate around $1000, promising to deduct the amount paid and give me the 5%...

They showed up on time, and were professional. I thought the work was OK. They spent about two hours which included the inspection. Most work was almost all labor, and the bill surprised me at well over $500.00

We are a military family who had to do a PCS move. We rented a property through this company. Upon arrival to the property there were several issues that were found with the home. Given the home is almost 20 years old we were not expecting to find a home in brand new condition. However, we...

I started process from industry ASHI website. Completed survey, we sent it electronically into office for scheduling. Callback was within 24 hours. I dropped other inspectors, and validate on Angie's list. Set and reviewed telephone quote. Our contract stalled due to realtor, and we called...

Mr. Power came to my home, was very friendly and knowledgeable and was very patient. We discussed what needed to be done in a trouble area on my eaves, he went home to write me an estimate and emailed the itemized estimate to me. His bid was very reasonable and I was excited to hire him and...

We purchased a home in Temple and they did the termite inspection. They were very professional and knew exactly what to do with the realtor and title company. Even though they only had to look for specific insects/damage, they were nice enough to let us know if they noticed anything peculiar...

WHITE'S PLUMBING
WHITE'S PLUMBING
Great service, best prices in town
"Called Mr. White because my rental property had a leak under the kitchen sink and a tub faucet leak. He contacted my tenants on a Thursday and made an appointment to come by and view the issues. White Plumbing scheduled with my tenants to make the repairs the following Monday and they never showed up and never called myself or my tenant. Finally after some messaging on Tuesday morning Mr. White informed me that Tuesday was a better day for him, if he know that he should have let the tenant or myself know so that he did not have to take off work on Monday waiting for nothing. Mr. White's texted me an estimate of $275.00 with no explanation of what work is to be done, so I asked for a work order/invoice or something. Later that day Mr. White's son called me and tells me that the charge has changed and that it is going to be $375 and that his daddy did not know what he was talking about and that he would talk to him about the quote he gave me. I explained to his son that I was not going to pay any more than what was quoted. My tenants called Wednesday morning to let me know that the kitchen sink was still leaking. I contacted White Plumbing they fixed it again, my tenants called me on Thursday morning to let me know that the leak under the kitchen sink is still there. I spoke with Mr. White's son and he explains to me that he is going to have to buy a faucet and that it is going to cost about $89 dollars, and that i needed to pay $375 to complete the job and I told him again that was not going to pay any more because I think that I was paying too much for such a simple issue. He again tried to explain to me that his father (the master plumber and owner of the business) did not know what he was talking about, so we argued a little more, which I think was extremely unprofessional on his part. Friday arrives and I texted Mr. White to let him know that I am going to have to hire someone else to fix my plumbing issues because he did not inform me, nor did the tenant inform me that the repairs were complete and I received a call right away which was unusual because, when I was trying to get something written on the work procedures or when they were going to show up for the job he was not so quick to act. They also used, used piping to make the repairs under the sink. Just a bad job all the way around. I will never use them again. They are the worst plumbing company I have done business with in all of my 57 years. I do not live in Waco so finding people to do work is difficult. I wish I had taken a picture of the piping they used because I would upload a picture."

FAQs for home inspection projects in Fallon, TX
It’s important to get a home inspection when buying a home because home inspectors are trained to examine the various aspects of a home to determine that everything is in good condition and find unseen problems that current homeowners need to fix before the home sale takes place. Although home inspections are not legally required, a thorough inspection can help you decide if you want to purchase a home. That’s why it’s essential to keep a home inspection contingency so that you have the option to walk away from the sale if the home inspection reveals expensive issues.
A home inspection typically includes the home inspector conducting a thorough visual examination of essential home structures and mechanical components. Afterward, the inspector will provide a home inspection report that relays descriptions of damage or other findings for the homeowner to review.
Home inspectors will examine the following home areas and features:
Plumbing
Electrical
Foundations
Roof
Windows and doors
Overall condition of interior and exterior
HVAC systems
Attics
Basements or crawl spaces
Major built-in appliances
Typically, a licensed and certified local home inspector conducts home inspections. Real estate agents often work closely with trusted home inspectors. Licensing requirements vary from state to state for home inspectors, but they must have local certification and valid insurance. Many licensed home inspectors belong to professional associations like the American Society of Home Inspectors.
Typically, the home buyer pays for the inspection by hiring a home inspector. This method helps you make an informed decision about a home’s condition before purchasing it. Home sellers can also conduct their own home inspection to ensure that they are getting the best price for their home and property.
On average, home inspections cost about $350, ranging from $200 to $500, depending on the home’s size, age, and location, plus any specialty inspections required. Additional cost factors include testing for asbestos or conducting thermal imaging tests to find infestations, checking energy efficiency, and looking for structural or electrical problems. If your home is more than 2,000 square feet, you can expect to pay $400 or more.
