"I was absolutely content with the work that C&G Plumbing completed at my property. They knocked out some sewer repairs for me and made the entire process, which could've been a nightmare, stress free and easy. I definitely would recommend them to any one. Dependable, Informative, Honest, and Fast."

"The contractors were knowledgeable, neat and clean, explained things quite well and gave a written quote. They went an extra step in completing a quick locate of the problem. They were great, but I went with a different contractor this time. They are on my list of favorites though !"

"Mike is awesome. He did a great job at a good price. We replaced a water heater on the 4th floor of our townhome. At least two other companies refused to even bid on the the job. Not only did Mike do the work, but he didn't grumble or complain; as if carrying a 75 gallon water heater down 4 flights of stairs was an everyday occurence for him. He was prompt, quick, cleaned up the mess and was a pleasure to have in my home. We will certainly use him again"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You could be smelling sewer gas in your kitchen because of a dry P-trap, clogged vent pipe, or leaking plumbing seals. If you smell a rotten egg odor, check your sink’s P-trap and plumbing connections first. A clogged or damaged vent pipe can trap sewer gas and push it back into your kitchen through the plumbing pipes. Loose or deteriorated seals around drainpipes can also allow sewer gas to leak out. If you can’t find the source, call a local plumber for expert help.

DIY is not recommended due to safety risks and specialized equipment requirements. Hire professionals for effective clearing.

If your drain doesn’t have metal crosshairs or crossbars, you should use a tub drain extractor. These tools create a grip on the drain so you can turn it using a 1/2-inch ratchet drive, drain key, or wrench. Your drain may not have crosshairs if it's old and broken.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Sometimes, the drain is just too clogged—thanks, stubborn hair and soap scum. In this case, you’ll need a more powerful drain cleaner than you can DIY safely at home. But this doesn’t mean you have to choose a traditional drain cleaner.

You can find biodegradable drain cleaners at your local home improvement store or online for those drains that need a little more oomph

While on the hunt for a formidable drain cleaner, the best options are non-chemical clog solutions that combine enzymes and bacteria.
