"Israel Molina and his team are true professionals whose work reflects their knowledge and expertise. I needed many palms trimmed and cleaned. In addition, my 30 year old mesquite needed to reduce some weight off the branches. The team worked together and in short time my trees were completely reshaped. This was a significant task and took the better part of an entire day. Cleanup and haul away were performed and I hardly could tell that so much work was done except that the trailer was loaded to the brim. Israel knows what he doing and keeps a steady pace completing one tree after another. Meanwhile the rest of the team keep busy and they are not just watching. Everyone is personable and friendly. They are hard working professionals. I recommend this tree service, you will not be disappointed thank you."

"I hired him for the removal of a mature Chipalta tree. He called me back right way after finding him on Angi's List. Came to my property within 20 minutes for a free estimate. He's been removing trees his whole life. Very experienced, very efficient worker that he has hired. Came the next day and they were finished in one hour including excellent clean up. Very affordable prices."

"The people were very nice. They arrived on time as they said. They got out and they did everything I asked them to do. But I have a big oak tree out in the front yard and I wanted it just kind of cut back a little bit and some things away from the house. That all went really well. When the main man and he told me his name but I don't remember his name, thought out to shake my hand at the beginning, I could smell alcohol in his breath, number one. Then after he came in, he knocked on the door and asked me to come out, they wanted to show me something on my big oak tree. Of course the big oak tree had two big limbs coming out of the bottom. What he showed me was the one that came up and went out over the street. He said this is going to break any minutes. You can see right here where it has a crack in it. The crack goes all the way up here. It scared me to death because number one, if it fell on anybody then it's my fault and all this stuff. I said, what can you do about it? I can't do it right now. I have a $400 deal on Angie's List go and take that and then we'll be here August 1st. I said, okay I'll do that. He left and then I got to thinking, well it can't be too bad, if he can't do it then he's going to take me back in August 1st. The other thing the guy told me that he was an arborist. He didn't tell me he was certified but he was an arborist so he knew what he was talking about. I called three other people, two people came out, each of them gave me, look, there's nothing wrong with this tree. Oak trees heal themselves. See, this has already healed on all these places, it's not going to fall down. It does need to be trimmed up a little bit more but it is certainly not going to fall anywhere. The guy was going to charge me $400 and he would have come and cut that limb off. It's a big one. It wold have been half of a tree. Everything was fine, it's just what he wanted to do."

"We had previously gotten an estimate for over $1600 and were shopping for a better deal.  Urban cultivator sent an arborist and gave us the estimate and within a few days, the workmen came and took about 4 hours to do the job. It required a man to climb up each tree and trim off the branches which were then tossed into a wood chipper and dumped into the company's truck bed. Then the he climbed back up the tree and removed parts of the truck, about 3 feet at a time, dropped them to the ground and the other men put them in the truck.  He would down go down the tree trunk and cut three more feet until he finally got the whole tree cut down.  Then, they brought in a special stump remover, removed the stump and leveled the ground, spreading the rock scaping over the ground, making it look almost undisturbed.  It was a very reasonable price for the amount of work involved.

"Called Rick at 11:00 am on Saturday February 2, 2013 to get an estimate on removing a mulberry stump from between my sidewalk and curb.  Another individual had removed the tree for me but didn't have the equipment to take care of the stump.
Rick indicated that he would be at my house sometime after 1:00 p.m. and would take the stump out the same day.  He and his crew showed up at 1:45 and had the stump completely clear by 4:00 p.m.  Just to indicate how much work was done the stump was three to four feet tall and about three feet across.  Rick and his crew went to work with chainsaws and stump grinders and made short work of a huge job.  They also swept and raked the mess as they went.  This impressed my picky neighbor so much that he hired Rick on the spot to grind a stump in his yard.
Fast, good service, job well done.

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Generally, homeowners do not need permission to cut down a tree on their own private property, but there are several exceptions where a permit may be required. You might need a permit if the tree is particularly large, old, or a protected species, such as a heritage tree. Trees located near public property or power lines can also be subject to special rules. Additionally, many local governments and homeowners associations (HOAs) have regulations controlling which trees can be removed to manage an area's appearance or prevent the spread of invasive species. To avoid hefty fines, it is crucial to check with your local government and HOA to determine if a permit is needed before you begin.

It is possible to burn out a tree stump if it is dried out and in an area of your property with a large buffer. Drill holes in the stump and dig around the base so it burns more easily. Then, build a small campfire on top using kindling and firewood. You’ll need enough to keep the fire going for many hours to completely burn out the stump, especially if it’s large.

Monitor the fire closely to ensure it doesn’t spread, and have a hose on hand if it starts to get out of control. When the fire is out, break apart the burned stump and dig out what’s left of it.

If this sounds like a good option, learn more about how to burn a tree stump before attempting it, as it does come with risks.

You can use herbicides to prevent roots from growing without killing the tree itself, however they must be used with caution. Systemic herbicides are absorbed by the root and can kill off problematic roots. However, herbicides can sometimes negatively impact nearby plants, so the solution is best used sparingly.

Late winter is ideal, but if you’re pruning apple trees in the spring, prune them as early as possible in the season. You want to ensure your tree is just creeping out of dormancy and hasn’t started pushing out new growth. If you prune your tree too late into spring, you generally won’t see results until the following year.

That said, there’s no pruning season for unhealthy growth. Remove dead, dying, or diseased branches as soon as you notice them, regardless of the time of year.

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.
