"We decided to install a home security system after a recent break-in on our block.  We called a few reputable companies that serviced our area and ultimately decided on Security One.  Their prices (including equipment and monthly fees) were comparable to the other top-ranked companies but they were one of the few who also provdided at-home installation, rather than self-service.  (This was essential for us as we were hoping for an expert opinion on what package made the most sense for our particular situation).  I spoke with James who patiently and clearly answered my many questions - and then my husband's when we called again for further information.  We were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days.  Chris came to install the system us and spent about an hour and a half at our home.  He first walked through to assess the space and make recommendations.  We ended up with a similar package to what was recommended over the phone with a few minor adjustments. He thoroughly explained the system to us (and again to our nanny in spanish).  We're only a few days in but all in all, the experience was very positive and we'd happily recommend Security One to others.
