"It turned out great. They came and sprayed all of the base boards. I told them if I have any problems and they just sprayed for that. Everything was positive. I used to clean houses and I cleaned a friend’s house and I saw dead bugs all over their house because had them sprayed. They told me who and it was Mid-Cities Pest Control and then a month later, there were more dead bugs. It was from the first time. I was impressed and that’s why I picked them. We had a special price with the contract we have with them."

"We had a big problem with rats under the house. James really knows his stuff and specializes in Rodents. What I like most about this company is that the person who does the work, and deals with customers. His suggestions include a lot of ideas that do not involve hiring his company on an extended prevention plan, so he wasn't just looking to sell me something. I also appreciated that he was very proactive about scheduling the appointment and coming back whenever we needed to without any delay. One time he was in the neighborhood and just stopped by to check in at no cost. That's good customer service."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Woodpeckers peck at the break of dawn and take a break whenever the sun is not shining. On sunny days, expect pecking from dawn to dusk. On cloudy days, expect sporadic pecking when the sun peeks through. These birds are most active in the spring; you’ll hear them drumming as soon as the weather turns warm.

If a wild animal enters your yard, prioritize safety for yourself and the animal. Remember to avoid direct contact and always keep a safe distance. Contact local authorities or a wildlife rehabilitation center if the animal is hurt or in distress. Both sources should be able to guide you on how to proceed and send help if needed. Please wait for the animal to leave naturally for non-threatening situations, as many will. To deter future visits, implement measures like securing trash cans, sealing entry points, and removing potential food sources.

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

Yes, in some cases if your damper is left open, animals can come down your chimney. In these instances, it’s more likely that they have fallen in while looking for a safe spot rather than entered your house intentionally. Leaving your damper closed or installing a chimney cap can prevent animals from coming inside.

Cockroaches, ants, flies, bed bugs, and termites are common in business environments.
