"I had a hard time getting the workers to get the waterfall done like I wanted them to. Allen Curry had to come out and have them rebuild the waterfall like I had originally wanted it done. Customer service is horrible. My equipment needs repair now and I cant get anyone from Curry to come finish replacing needed parts so I can keep a clean pool. I was told last year that a new seal was needed for a filter to waterfall and they never brought it. It still needs it and I am alone and dont know how to fix it myself. I called them last week, May, 2019 and asked for help and no one has bothered to call me back. I would highly recommend that you not use this company to build your pool due to poor customer services. Virginia, Sulphur Springs, Tx"

Each state has its own regulations about pool fences, and laws to protect both swimmers and pool owners. Before installing a pool, you’ll need to research what the pool laws in your state, city, and county are to ensure that you’re adhering to the legal regulations. Inground pools typically need to have a fence around the entirety of them, but the rules regarding above-ground pools are less stringent. A good rule of thumb is to always have a fence around your pool to ensure safety for all. 

There are many factors to consider when building an in-ground concrete pool. This includes the pool’s primary purpose (relaxation or exercise) if you live in a warm or cold climate (how often it’ll be used), and if you have the budget for chemical treatments and pool maintenance. In-ground pools are often more costly than aboveground pools, but they’re considered more luxurious and hold more value.

Small animals, particularly rats and mice, like to burrow inside pool heaters. To keep them out, seal any entry points with caulk or steel wool. Some but not all types of pool enclosures block ultraviolet (UV) rays. You can opt for specially coated glass for your enclosure that helps block the harmful UV rays from reaching you in the pool. To keep yourself safe from harmful UV rays while swimming, it’s best to routinely use waterproof sunblock.
