"Of all the contractors that worked hard to remodel my kitchen, Mr. Jose Lopez of High Quality Sheetrock Repair, was my favorite. After the old counter-top and old back-splash tile was removed, Mr. Lopez removed the damaged drywall and replaced it. He carefully cut around the electrical receptacles and the plumbing supply lines to avoid leaving large gaps. He made sure that the drywall was straight so that the new counter-top will lay flush against the wall. He aligned the seams to provide a smooth surface on which to install the new tile back-splash. When told that the new tile may be glass tile, he returned with paint and painted the new drywall white to ensure consistent coloration of the translucent tile. He charged no extra fees for the painting work. The beautifully laid and finished kitchen counter-top and back-splash tile are a testament to Mr. Lopez's forethought, conscientious attitude and careful attention to detail."

"Mark arrived inspected the house and wrote something in a notebook then told me he would send me an estimate in a day or so. A week went by no estimate, no communication so I called him only for him to say he would get it to me that evening. I wait another 3 days and still no estimate. If this is how he communicates for just an estimate I can imagine how he would be on the job. A professional courtesy would've been just to say I cannot give you an estimate or am not willing to do the job either way I wouldve respected that instead of lying or stringing a potential customer along. Everything went great.  We first had the root barrier done because we had a structural engineer come look at our house and he said the roots from our oak trees and the one from our neighbor was starting to effect our foundation.  I searched different companies on Angie's list and decided to go with Works by Rob.  He had an A rating on Angie's list.  I had also had other companies come out but I felt Rob did the best job with explaining what he was going to do and he was competitively priced and was actually doing more than the other companies.  I met with Rob and he was profession and prompt and explained everything he was going to do.  Rob and his crew installed a root barrier to prevent roots from causing further foundation problems along with a moisture barrier per the recommendation of my structural engineer.  They did a great job and replaced the dirt and grass and cleaned up everything after they were done. 

A few weeks later after the big rain we had, I called Rob about a drainage problem we were having.  We had already had drains installed but they were not functioning properly.  Rob and his crew came out and accessed the situation.  Rob determined what the problems were and he redid most of our drainage system.  Rob and his crew worked really hard at digging trenches and laying new pipes and installing drains in key areas of our yard along with properly routing the huge amount of water we had coming off our roof and going out through our gutters.  Rob explained everything he was doing each step of the way.  He cleaned up after everything was done and even went the extra mile and did a few other things that were not originally discussed.  We had another big rain recently and everything worked well and drained like it should. 

I would certainly use Works by Rob again and will highly recommend them to others.  Rob and his crew were great and did a fantastic job with both the root barrier and the drains.  Rob also does gutters and replacing and fixing of roofs and I will certainly be calling him again when I need new gutters or a new roof.
