When deciding whether quartz or granite is better for your countertops, consider your budget, lifestyle, and aesthetic preference. Many people prefer quartz because it comes in more aesthetic varieties and is nonporous, making it easier to clean, more bacteria-resistant, and lower maintenance. However, granite is sometimes preferable because it is more heat-resistant and less expensive.

Corian tends to be slightly cheaper than granite when used in fixtures like kitchen countertops. However, the price difference is fairly negligible and largely depends on the type of granite you choose. Corian can be a budget-friendly and durable choice, plus it doesn’t require as much regular maintenance, which keeps long-term costs down.
