"The wait for installation was long and when scheduled, they called to "reschedule" due to the installer. Apparently they use outside contractors to install. When they showed up, they worked hard but one installer left for over 2 hours, leaving on one to work. They did not want to quit and come back (found out they get paid by the job and couldn't pick up a new job until ours was finished. They left the house at 10:05 PM. The salesman put the wrong transitions in the order despite numerous conversations. They also installed the shoe molding around our kitchen island wrong. I went to store in Pearland the next day. My salesman had been transferred and I met with the District Manager. It took over a week to get anyone back out to fix and then they brought the wrong transitions again. I called the District Manager and complained. She told me they weren't there to fix the island until I asked her to check the paperwork and she admitted it was on the work order. After numerous phone calls, the installers went to Home Depot and came back with something that would work. They were nice and got it fixed. The carpet was scheduled later and when they showed up, they pulled the old pile carpet and told me that the defects in the staircase would show up if they installed the berber carpet. I asked why the salesman didn't discuss that with me. He said the salesmen don't install. They suggested I fix the staircase, repaint it and call them back. I got it fixed and called the store. The District Manager told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come back even though the installer said it would take less than 2 hours to install it. I have called back and asked to improve the installation. They said they send an email to installation but I am still waiting a week later. I am calling the COO in Houston tomorrow. The first 2 times I used Floors for Living, they were privately owned but have been purchased by another company. The entire process was much different and less congenial. I won't ever use them again and caution anyone thinking about it to check multiple review sources."

We replaced 2200 sq.ft hardwood floors, using their expert, detailed, hardworking team of installers, who were neat, clean, & friendly. They never pushed us to make a decision and were responsive to our questions and concerns. We can’t imagine going anywhere else, and they weren’t the cheapest quote we got! "Badley, I saw them advertising on a TV show called 'great day Houston', He said there is no surprise in our company. they were anything but surprise. BUT Get ready to pay more than they told you on the phone. plus my rug is still filthy. the young man who did the job was nice and polite and was doing what the owner told him to do which was to go over it only once!! he told me, ma'am, the water still looks dirty we need to take your rug to the factory to clean it and it will cost $550.00 I ask him to go over it one more time, and he said ''I can not do that''. ''it cost more money''. I did not want to get him in trouble so I paid him what I was told and asked him to leave. I gave them a zero for their survey, and they called me to fix it but again they were telling me to pay more to clean it. I will post the picture of the rug that was taken on June- 26 2021and another pic is 6-2-2023 after they suppose to be cleaned. to see how it was before and after. my rug already looks clean before they cleaned it. I'' give them Zero stars. Word of mouth is the best advertisement."

"This is a very bad place to do business. Yes they give free estimates that are outrageous and they are very intimidating and high pressure. They have pictures of other places and try to to tell you it yours. They do a very poor job. Cant even clean a dryer vent properly. Never again. i will find a better place. try stanley steemer."

"I discovered petpee.com when I was searching online for ways to remove the urine odor from our 10’ x 14’ Karastan wool oriental rug. I had planned to clean the rug myself, but I was intrigued by the videos I saw on YouTube of petpee.com’s owner, Meir Martin, demonstrating how he cleans rugs like mine. I searched for petpee.com reviews and was blown away by the number of glowing reviews that had been written by satisfied customers. I knew then and there that I wanted to turn my rug over rug to Mr. Martin to finally get rid of the urine odor that had been building up for over 10 years. I called him and got a quote of $1079, which included shipping both ways, cleaning the rug, and a guarantee that I would not be able to detect any urine odor when my rug was returned to me. After getting over the sticker shock, my husband gave me the green light to send the rug to petpeepee.com. I think he was more interested in getting rid of my constant complaints about the urine odor than the actual odor itself! Mr. Martin walked us through how to pack up our rug for shipping via UPS, having us send him pictures to make sure we had prepared it properly. Even though we followed his instructions, I received an email from UPS 5 days later that my rug had been lost. I was regretting my decision to send my rug off for cleaning, UNTIL Mr. Martin worked his magic! I’m only the second customer in all the years petpeepee.com has been in business to have her oriental rug go missing, but that was to my benefit, because Mr. Meir knew exactly who to call (in Utah, of all places!) to track down my rug. Mr. Martin called his contact at UPS every day to check on whether my rug had been found and kept me posted each day for a week. On the seventh day after UPS reported my rug had been lost, Mr. Martin called me with the happy news that my rug had been found!!! Apparently some of the tape I had used to secure the label to the package was not completely flat and caused the label and bag to tear. Mr. Martin received my rug via Next Day Air from UPS on August 23 and began the cleaning process the next day. I loved receiving videos and pictures of the rug being cleaned and getting updates from Mr. Martin throughout the process. (You can see my rug being cleaned on YouTube by searching “Removing urine odor from a supersize Karastan rug.”). We received the rug back on September 2, and it smelled as fresh as it did the day we bought it! It looked so clean and new – worth every penny we paid to have petpeepee.com clean it. I really need more than five stars for my recommendation of petpeepee.com and Meir Martin. He is a true professional and the best communicator of any service provider I’ve ever encountered. I will be sending him more rugs soon! When I do, I will be VERY careful about packaging them, including using a HEAVY DUTY bag and taping multiple labels on the inside and outside of the package and making sure EVERYTHING on the outside is smooth and flat. "I scheduled a grout cleaning on my 2-year-old house because it had the regular gunk build up from kids and pets, but nothing outrageous with any expectation of not being able to be cleaned in the normal course of a grout cleaning. The first day, the technician came and was very friendly, very nice. Unfortunately, when he left, we noticed all the gunk and grime had splashed all over our walls, our cabinets, our appliances, etc. Additionally, we noticed that certain areas in the grout were all of a sudden very dark, where they previously weren't. We called him back out the next day, and he apologized for the inconvenience, cleaned up the walls, appliances, and cabinets, and said the dark spots were just still drying and to give the company a call if it didn't dry in a couple of days. Additionally, there was some water damage to one of our door frames to the laundry room, to which he just responded, "I remember that door frame being damaged." Unfortunately, there is no way of proving one way or another, so I left that alone. About a week later, we called him back out, he said "no problem" and proceeded to re-clean the dark spots and said if that didn't work, maybe there would be a need to rework the grout and find a similar color. I followed up with him multiple times since then to no response. The last message exchange was on Feb. 2, where I sent pictures where the dark spots did not lighten up and asked what could be done. To which, Daniel responsed, "the next step to those areas is try to match the grout color with a color seal." When asked "when can that be done?" he simply said, "let me see." Since then, I have not received any type of response, call back, etc. My house, which was essentially pretty new, now has crappy dark spots on the grout, where there weren't any issues before. There was no actual remedy, and I got ghosted. It will now cost me another tiny fortune to fix the issue that was caused by your company."
