I’m the handyman one called to fix it all I have skills in a lot of different areas. My business is just now starting and I’m trying to get it off the ground. I’m a very hard worker. I’m cheap reliable and honest if it’s something I don’t know how to do. I will be upfront with you and let you know that I don’t know how to do it, but I’ve usually got resources for someone that does know how to do it, I always give 100% on my jobs and go above and beyond

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

You can often fix an air bubble by cutting a tiny hole in the bubble with a very sharp knife, using a glue syringe to inject some adhesive behind the bubbled portion of paper, and then using a wallpaper smoothing tool to push the bubble back onto the wall's surface.

Wallpaper costs depend on several factors, such as the type, who's installing it, and how much you need. Usually, peel-and-stick wallpaper costs less than more permanent options. If you DIY, you can also expect your costs to be lower compared to working with a professional. The average cost to install wallpaper is $560, but total costs can range from $175 to $1,500.

Many types of peel-and-stick wallpaper can hold up to environments with some level of moisture, such as bathrooms—especially peel-and-stick wallpapers made of vinyl or polyester. However, if you’re considering wallpapering a bathroom that sees a lot of moisture, like a kids’ bathroom or a full bathroom with a steamy shower and inadequate ventilation, even the highest quality wallpapers will peel.

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

You can hide wallpaper seams when painting by applying joint compound over them and then sanding thoroughly until smooth. You’ll want to apply two layers of compound, allowing for four to eight hours between coats. Do a light sanding between coats and then after the final coat is dry. Once the compound dries completely, you can begin priming and painting the wall.
