"Paul, the owner, was exceptionally kind, patient, and welcoming—even toward someone like me, a frail elderly customer. He and his assistant, Crag, installed a 50-gallon Bradford White RG250T6N water heater with great care and professionalism. Their work was clean, efficient, and thoughtfully executed. They took the time to answer all my questions without hesitation. I was truly impressed and will gladly add them to my trusted list of family “pipe doctors.”"

"Roberto came to install 2 toilets but I forgot i also needed a bthrm vanity sink installed & also asked him to look at a leaking valve where fridge goes. He called his boss to see if it was ok to perform the additional work and was given the approval. He did an excellent job for an excellent price. No mess to clean up afterwards. Professional and exceptional. I will definitely be calling them again soon."

"Quick response and appointment (within 24 hours of original call back). Arrived on time, ready to do the job. Friendly young man that did the work. Recieved two other estimates both more money. Came in at expected price definitely a 5 star business. We will use them again when we need to install a new septic and drywells on a planned second home build.. Thank you so much for making what could have been a horrible mess and into a shining example of customer service."

"We started out a little rocky with purchase and installation of the incorrect style of toilet. However my plumber, Erik immediately took full ownership of the error, corrected it and had my correct toilet installed within a few hours. Workmanship was great, my plumber was very professional, courteous, on time and did a wonderful clean up job after all the work was completed."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Toilets typically connect to your main vent stack, a vertical pipe that runs through all finished levels of your home and exits through the roof. It’s located behind the walls, but if you have an unfinished basement or a utility closet, you may find a portion of it running the vertical length of the space. Some basement toilets use an air admittance valve instead, which is a small vent located in the wall directly behind the toilet that extends upward a few feet from the drain.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

The main cause of bathroom leaks is seals and connectors that loosen or deteriorate over time, causing leaks to develop. It's important to stay on top of your bathroom materials, as toilets, showers, and sinks all have different lifespans. Toilets and faucets last between 10 and 15 years on average with regular maintenance, but different parts may have shorter lifespans than others.

Basement toilets don’t always need a pump. However, it is the most common setup because plumbing systems use gravity to move waste away from the home. Basement toilets often sit below the home’s main sewage system, and installing a sewage ejector pump pushes the wastewater and sewage up to the main sewer line. Alternatively, you can use an upflush or macerator toilet that breaks down the waste and pushes it straight to the main sewer line rather than via a sewer line from the bathroom.

While a toilet dripping on the outside can be caused by condensation, a toilet that is constantly dripping on the inside is usually caused by a deteriorated flapper. This is one of the most common types of toilet leaks. As the flapper degrades, it won’t seal properly, and water will constantly leak into the toilet.
