"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."
"All work was done in a timely, professional manner. Shingles and majority of the work was done within two days with a few items finished a few weeks later-a skylight that had to be ordered, etc. Everyone did a top notch job. The roofers even went over the grounds two times picking up nails after the job was done, and did a very good job at that. They were very pleasant folks. We were glad to have them do the work. After the ridge vents were installed, I noticed s savings in my electric bill, too. We wee able to raise our thermostat by 3 degrees and still stayed cool in the last few hot days of summer. Ridge vents are definitely the way to go. Thank you, Tony and crew. Keep up the good work. I highly recommend Tony's Roofing Service. The office staff even helped me get my warranty registered with the Certainteed company after the work had been completed. "
"Fernando, his son Frankie, and Jeb Kraft (substituting for a vacationing crew member) were excellent. Their experience, work ethic, and attitude were outstanding. Every issue that arose as they repaired work another company did several years ago was solved by Fernando. He always provided several options and we selected the best one for the situation. Because Fernando hand-dug the needed holes and trenches he had no problem when he encountered the main electric line several feet from where 811 had marked it."
"The work was done in a timely manner. It was well done and it has held up nicely. The price was very fair. It was a pleasure to work with an honest person."
Winter is the least expensive time of year to replace a roof due to decreased demand. However, it’s not an ideal time to replace your roof, as there are numerous factors that can inhibit the work, including shorter days, snow and ice, and cold temperatures.
You cannot replace granules that have been lost off shingles. The granule embedding process is part of shingle manufacturing, and once the bond holding the granules to the shingles has been lost, the granules are gone for good. Shingles with granule loss must be fully replaced to continue offering adequate protection.
Yes, clay and concrete tile roofs will keep your home cooler in the summer for two reasons. First, the material has low heat conductivity, so heat transfer from the sunlight and the outside air to your home will be very slow. Additionally, tile roofs have air gaps between the tiles and the roof decking, which helps further insulate your structure from heat gain. Light-colored tile is especially energy-efficient and will minimize how much outside heat transfers into your home.
Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.
Installing a green roof costs between $10 and $30 per square foot. Green roofs cost slightly more than standard roofs, due to the extra materials and installation know-how required. The type of green roof you choose also impacts the cost, with intensive roofing systems costing considerably more than extensive roofs.
