Dylan at 911 Locksmith and Security is experienced, knowledgeable, and professional with locks and security. I wanted to replace key locks with keyless entry on three doors. I also needed to match hardware to fit my personal taste. Dylan came on time for my appointment, and was prepared with everything needed for the job. After he started the work, I asked if I could add a door lock that I had neglected to include, and Dylan had no problem making a quick run to the warehouse to pick up what I wanted, and had all three of my doors finished and secure in one afternoon. "Ernie (owner) arrived with a helper on time. He quickly understood the scope of the work that was to be done, and left his helper to perform the task. I had some outlets added and one removed and a light switch moved. The total time spent at my house was at least 2 1/2 hours but they didn't charge me for the extra time spent (much appreciated). My only negative experience was that the light switched they moved didn't work properly once moved. He said it was due to old parts (the switch itself). But he didn't have any switches on him, so it would require going to the hardware store to buy one which would end up taking another hour thus costing me the regular rate for an hour. Since my husband is handy, he ended up installing the new switch himself the next day. It just seems to me that an electrician would have switches on hand. It seems like a common part to me - but maybe it's not. Its just hard for me to pay an electricians rate for travel time to and from the hardware store.
That being said, I am using them again on another project in my living room this week. Ernie is easy to work with and can take electrical terms and explain it to the layperson. He is also respectful to women - which I have not always found when working with some men.
