"Roger was very friendly, efficient, and on top of it his quote was very competitive. He had to make a return trip to solve a couple issues that came up with the quirkiness of our previous light installation, but he solved it easily. I would definitely hire again!!!"

Small jobs welcome

"Installation was smooth as silk! The installers were on time, efficient and very professional. They left everything ship shape and gave us a walkthrough when done to make sure everything was in order and all the breakers were properly labeled. I was particularly impressed that they put on shoe covers before entering our home. None of the other contractors who bid on the job were that consciencious. Their price was slightly more than the other bids, but they were able to explain the additional value we were getting. I'd definitely hire them again."

"Chris was a great service man. After a thorough inspection of my power panel, Chris found the problem of power surges and recommended I call ONCOR to fix the service to the house. One phase had burned through the rubber boot. ONCOR promptly came and reconnected the power properly."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.

You can use outdoor electrical outlets to conveniently power landscaping equipment such as electrical lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. From a recreational standpoint, outdoor outlets are handy for powering electric grills, mini-fridges, and stereos. They're also helpful when it's time to string Christmas lights on your home and around your property.

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.
