Listen. I’m a spinster for a reason. I am THE PICKIEST person on the planet. I was that annoying kid in school who knew the difference between an en dash and an em dash and would tell you all about it. I was alphabetizing my family’s canned goods by age 5. To this day, on punch list day, I’m a client’s best friend and a builder’s worst nightmare. I can spot a 1” scratch on the floor - or a character flaw - across a crowded room. Fortunately, the thing that makes me a total nightmare to live with makes me the best organizer and closet and pantry designer. And I wouldn’t pick anyone but Haydn to work with on my Elfa installations. I’ve worked with him on every single install I’ve had the last 7 years. If he couldn’t get to me immediately because he was booked, I’d wait. And by wait, I mean skulk around in his bushes until he’d come out. I may be the organizer responsible for buying 97% of Elfa’s line of shelf baskets. Haydn will go pick up all 200 packages of shelf basket dividers and has never once made fun of me. He’ll cut the shelf baskets to exactly fit my space. He takes every single sticker off of every single piece {leaving stickers on things or Christmas lights up all year round and you’re dead to me, people}. We don’t even have to talk anymore. I can just grunt in his general direction and he knows I want Wall A to be end-to-end. Or not to install those standard covers or I’ll make him take them all off. And then, once the client’s space is EXACTLY the way we envisioned, he magically makes all the box trash and packaging go magically away. Like Mary Poppins. Except he doesn’t sing. Do not ask him to sing. If you want Elfa installed —run, don’t walk— to get on Haydn’s books. If he doesn’t install an Elfa closet so good it makes you cry, I’ll name my firstborn child whatever name you choose. Just kidding. I’m a spinster. And also wouldn’t want to end up with twins named Chip and Guacamole. Poor Guacamole. Chip would always be the cool one. Haydn is THE best. You can absolutely trust him with military secrets, the key to your house, and any Elfa installation needs you might have. PS…did you notice my impressive use of the em dash?

Haydn and crew did an excellent job with our closets. They were on time, on budget, clean and even played with the dogs when they came to help. We went from a very cramped useless master closet to something we can both use. Haydn had very good suggestions on how to lay the closet out and showed us what looked good on paper doesn’t always work as planned and gave us solutions. He will be doing our pantry and garage next.

What a great group to work with, the work was estimated at a great price and all the work was completed in just a couple of hours .

It went fantastically. There were measuring adjustments that needed to be made and a shortage of the delivered product. Haydn shared his findings, inquired as to what we preferred to do and got it done! He and his associate were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and they finished on one day! This was our first time having a closet system installed. I would most definitely hire them again!
