"The special rate I was offered over the phone was just a maintenance chimney cleaning rate where they manually run the brush up the chimney (recommended every 2 years). The spin brush (attached to a drill) thorough cleaning was double the price, this should be explained up front. Even the super duper cleaning only took 10 or 15 minutes. There was no chimney or roof inspection, only a cleaning. The end result was fine, my chimney flue is clean but it was not worth $179 in my opinion and I regret agreeing to the up-charge."
