We hired NOA services to clean our ducts. The technician arrived, opened only one duct, and spent about 20 minutes wiping bleach around the opening before charging us $400. He didnâ t inspect any other ducts, claiming they looked clean. However, when we checked the filter ourselves, it was still filthy, something he didnâ t even bother to examine. This experience felt like a complete rip-off.

They did not take away the old insulation as they promised, they only installed 8 inches and not the 12 inches that I paid for. Now I have a rat infestation, I never had this problem before.

I was told that the cost for the service would be $79, but if he had to go on the roof it would be $99. When the technician, however; said even before looking at the job that it would be anywhere from $170 to $220. I reminded him that was not the quote I got, but he said something about if it was clogged or something about a seal it would increase the price. I did not argue with him because I did not know enough about it to argue. When he finished he charged me $270! I felt that he just ripped me. Therefore, I researched the cost and discovered that the price for job is $99 on the first floor, $139 if job is on the 2nd floor and $169 if the tech has to go on the roof. I reported the matter to the Better Business Bureau and stopped payment on the $270. The BBB sent NOA a letter and they contacted me. We settle for $169 plus $20 for tax and the cost to run my card. Too much. I will never use them again.

NOA Services verified a price of $89 each to clean and inspect a gas log fireplace, a wood burning gas starter fireplace (we knew this one had a crack that would need a more expensive repair), and a wood burning stove. They verified that cleaning flues and getting on the roof to check the caps was part of the $89 price. That price was not honored for any of them, and the technician refused to get on the roof, claiming that a visual look from the ground showed they were fine. The technician overcharged for every aspect of service (without providing an itemized accounting of the cost for each element of work done), and we paid without contesting the cost because we wanted the job completed in a timely fashion. We have no idea if the flues really were cleaned. The repair to the cracked fireplace seems to be of good condition, and we understood that would be a much higher price. So that others will know: apparently $89 really covers only removing the ash under the grate, as you would be able to do easily yourself as a homeowner. The pricing they offered seems like a bait and switch technique. I would not recommend hiring this company for fireplace work, unless you are smarter than we were and get complete pricing information in writing in advance.

Service technician was prompt, courteous, and helpful with tips on how to care for our fireplace. He offered a regular $89 cleaning per the quote or the $229 for the more thorough cleaning. It was definitely our option with no pressure from the tech but my wife picked the ?better? option. Later that day and again today I?ve looked at the fireplace and the soot still blankets the brick walls. I?ve never dealt with having a chimney cleaned so I have nothing to truly to compare. As stated and denoted by the stars in my rating, the customer service aspect was the only area I rated higher than a 2.

Jerry is very professional. He was the third company I had come to my house to give me an estimate on replacing the back and bottom of the woodburning firebox. He was the only one that gave me two options and showed me the material that would be used. He explained the whole process which was very important to me if I am going to put out that kind of money to have it done. He made sure he covered all the surfaces from the floor up to the fireplace. He cleaned everything up. He guaranteed his work for 2 years.

The technician was more about upselling additional services verses chimney inspection & cleaning. Tech had an assistant. The tech utilized safety items (I.e. respirator), but provided no safety items for assistant. Tech never inspected the top of my chimney (I.e. roof area). Only stated no creasote). Had his assistant do a minor chimney sweep with brushes from the bottom (hearth). Sold me fireplace seal and paint of firebox trim. For the money I paid I was very disappointed in the services. For what he performed was no where near my expectation for such a service. Also Tech did no prep of the paint area (I.e. clean, remove rust, etc.) before painting. Sorry this was a very disappointing service and experience. A lessons learned on my part.

They were two jobs conceptions on this matters her House was cleaned up pretty much fast but her daughter's house was the one that took time he started at 6 a.m. and left at 8 p.m.She's not sure she can recommend them since the fact was $99 what she got quoted in ended up with $130 for house but all Together with her daughter's house came up to $500

We just purchased a house in North Dallas and used Noa services to clean our attic and add Insulation.. they also cleaned our air ducts and all registers. They were very reliable honest and professional. I would recommend them.
