For us, there were rocks I asked to be removed, which then exposed a small area on both sides of the retaining wall along the stairs. Now we have a problem of potential erosion onto dirt should it rain. That wasn't included in the work order. The other thing is that some of the resurfacing work on the retaining wall began to show cracks after two days. They quickly responded and repaired. I was told we had to try to keep that area wet for it to curate since this section doesn't get a lot of sunlight. Thank you, Art and crew, for responding quickly."

The project, which began on November 13, 2024 has been plagued by numerous issues, including poor workmanship, failure to adhere to the contract, and multiple no-call, no-show instances. Despite paying $22,000 upfront and for materials, the contractor has failed to complete the work as agreed. Details of the Complaint: 1. Substandard Workmanship – Two licensed and bonded contractors have inspected the work and provided written statements detailing severe deficiencies. Additionally, I have over 200 pictures and multiple videos documenting the issues. 2. Breach of Contract – The contractor has repeatedly failed to meet agreed-upon deadlines, leaving my home in an incomplete and hazardous state, exposing it to interior damage and major inconveniences. Specific issues include: o Roof – Not completed per contract, leaving my home vulnerable to damage. o Windows Trim – The sill on the front window is rotten; I had to pay $450 out of pocket for repairs. o Mastercool Unit – The back house unit’s wires were cut to the control switch. o Lighting Issues – No lights installed in the spare bathroom or the great room. o Structural Issue – No permit was pulled for the 20-foot beam in the great room, which now requires review by a contractor and the city to ensure compliance. 3. However, the completion date was repeatedly pushed back—to December 28, then December 31, then January 10. This resulted in cracks because he repeatedly applied mud over bubbled seams instead of properly fixing the issue."
