Firehouse Chimney aka Seymour Chimney Cleaning was started in 1983 by my father and brother, Al and Mark Leitch, Dad saw a need for a local sweep due to the high number of chimney fires in the community. Al is a 30 year veteran with the local fire department. Now I (Kent, Al's youngest son) have managed and operated the company since 2000. I work full time at the City of Knoxville Fire Dept and attend church at Calvary Chapel Church. Our first priority is safety, 2nd is affordability. We treat people like we would want our grandparents treated, with kindness and respect. The customer is right. We always appreciate any feedback, whether good or bad, it helps us improve and grow. We are a debt free company that is family owned and operated with help from selected firefighters and paramedics. We offer free inspections in the Seymour / south Knox area. "The Bed Bug treatment itself was effective. almost 2 months later there are no signs of bed bugs. The problem is that when they did the treatment, one of their technician's stole a firearm from my home. No one at Russell's seems to care. I filed a police report, but there are no witnesses, so not much can be done. And because i signed a piece of paper saying i removed all such items from my house, i have no recourse. It was a mistake that i left it behind, but apparently because i signed a piece of paper, Russell's Pest Control Technicians are free to steal from me? also missing was a cheap necklace. apparently it looked real, so they took that too. Again, no one at Russell's Pest Control seems to care being as they already got their thousands of dollars for the treatment."

To keep animals out, you must prevent them from entering. As long as they can get in, the problem will persist. That said, consider making your attic less inviting using deterrents like motion-activated lights or ultrasonic devices. Additionally, keeping a well-maintained, clean, and uncluttered attic that you regularly inspect for activity may make the space less attractive to critters.

Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders.
