"They have a 4 hour install window and called before the end of window to let me know that they were running late. Installation of the garbage disposal was quick since the make and model was the same as my previous one"

"Dennis and company were quick to come to the house and install my 60in TV. All cables were hidden in an exterior wall that provided challenges due to horizontal pre-existing electrical wiring and insulation. But Epic Sound was up to the task. The required corner mounting wasn't easy either. Again, they nailed it. Great work guys!"

"The two gentlemen were very friendly and capable. However, it would have been nice if they had gone a little bit above and beyond the basics. They did indeed set up our new TV. Unfortunately, we were not previously aware that in order to receive the streaming services we subscribed to, we would need to set up a ROKU account and then go thru the process of connecting each individual streaming service. Instead of giving us a few extra minutes to do this, they stated that it was a very easy process in which we could handle ourselves. I am sure this is correct for most people. However, as i explained to them, I am 80 years old and completely inept at technology. As I explained, **you need to draw me a picture**. Perhaps, your employees could be made aware that most older people need a little extra help with these things."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

In most cases, you should not put a TV on a fireplace mantel. The minimum width required to put a TV safely on a shelf or mantel is 10 inches, but pre-made mantels are usually too shallow, averaging at only seven inches deep. If you do choose to place a TV above a mantel, it should be mounted to the wall. However, do so cautiously as heat radiating from the fireplace could potentially cause damage to electronics.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

Yes, many professionals offer wall mounting and securing options for media consoles with attached TVs.

Yes, they assess space and TV size to recommend appropriate mounting solutions.

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.
