"We had a pest problem (mice) in our attic and crawlspace. As a result, we needed to not only remove the pests and close up entry / access points but also to remove and replace the 30+ year old insulation in our attic. We had read many positive reviews as well as received personal referrals from friends for the team at Complete Animal Removal / Complete Insulation and we were not disappointed. Many thanks to Michael for meeting with us for the initial inspection, answering questions, and guiding us through the process. The Teams from Complete Animal Removal / Complete Insulation Inc. did a fantastic job. They were very thorough and professional. The team at Complete Animal Removal worked through the pest removal process and closed up all entry and access points to prevent future issues. This process took several weeks and included sealing up all access points in our attic, crawlspace, etc. Once we had the pest issue under control, the team at Complete Insulation removed all of our fiberglass insulation in our attic and installed new closed-cell spray foam insulation. The spray-foam insulation install process went very smoothly. We had one minor electrical item that needed to be addressed in the attic while the team was prepping for the install and the team had an electrician onsite same day. A squirrel in a chimney may sound like gnawing since they like to chew through a wide range of materials. If you are not at high risk of contracting disease and take proper safety precautions, it’s considered generally safe to clean mouse droppings on your own. Before handling any droppings, make sure to put on protective equipment such as plastic gloves and a face mask. Individuals who are immunocompromised, have medical conditions, and children should especially avoid exposure to mouse droppings.
Pantry bugs are rarely able to get into sealed packages, but they may try. If you find pests on or around a sealed food item, check inside to make sure the food is still clean. Not sure whether a package is contaminated? Spread the contents onto a cookie sheet and use a flashlight to look for pests.
If you seal bees in a wall and don’t leave them any way to escape, they may make one of their own. Otherwise, they’ll die inside the wall, and that creates many additional problems. It takes a long time, and the bees will start rotting, which can make your home smell miserable. All the dead bees and any honeycombs they may have created will also attract a number of bugs or other pests to your home.
