Very informative and professional- took care to clean up very well behind themselves- the result looks great and no more water leakage- the 1 yr warranty on their work is a plus

We have existing piers underneath the house installed by a couple different companies by previous owners. The piers to be adjusted were no longer under warranty and needed to be lowered. Foundation Dynamics was the only company who not only provided a lifetime warranty for their services (even on piers they don't install!) but also actually adjusted the piers, not just cut them loose from the house. As the work was being completed, the team lead was inside the house measuring and watching the walls for stress levels. We did have some cracks in the drywall (we were warned to expect this during the first 30 days), but noticed immediate results in the reduction of sloping floors. Following the completion of the work, the teams left the landscape better than they found it in some cases. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I would use this company again if I found myself in this situation. Everyone we talked with or encountered within the company were pleasant, knowledgeable and very professional. When they say you pay for what you get...it is true with Foundation Dynamics. It was worth a bit of extra money for quality work, immediate results, and a lifetime warranty on any future repairs. The roof leaks worse than before--all along both porches, everywhere, as well as inside the house where there used to not be leaks. They did not put in enough downspouts, messed up the gutters, failed to flash the chimneys and dormers, It looks awful, and I am going to have to hire someone else to finish the work, plus repair the damage caused by Town & Country. They did not even clean up the yard. The owner claims he will warranty the workmanship for 10 years--but he refused to come back even once to finish the work. AVOID THIS COMPANY. They were easy to work with especially with me not knowing as much as I would like to know about my pool. The amount was for two separate invoices and one was done on the 9th of October and they came back for a follow up on the 12th of October. They are reasonably priced and in fact lower than the other quotes. I liked the idea that I can enquire without knowing. I feel that I can trust their response as supposed to them telling me and asking me for services or trying to sell me other products that are irrelevant. They helped me handle a problem and advised me on a need that had to have for my pool. I have expressed my need to make sure that I have budget for expenses instead of just paying for them. I had enquired if it was possible for me to delay or wait until I can fund it to pay for it and would they give me a quote that I could count on so that I could save for that particular expense. They have done that with every request, but not only that they even told me that because it was going to be in the winter season, they advised that I need not make this one particular repair that I had saved money for and was prepared to do and they said to save that money or use it in whatever other way, but that repair would not be necessary until spring. They would advise not doing it until the spring so I would have a full warranty well using the pool instead of wasting the warranty in the months that I wouldn't be using the pool. I would never have thought about the warranty on equipment running out during the period of time I don't need it, but it would have ran out before I actually would use my pool again if something was faulty with the part. I liked that and I think they were more customer service oriented."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/tn/memphis/advantage-pool-service-llc-reviews-323519.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"HOME DEPOT (703)","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"TN","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Annetha C."},"reviewBody":"When I called Home Depot I spoke to Brenda. They'd either give me a discount on the washing machine and we could fix it ourselves OR they would take it back but we would have to have it repaired first. The repair is covered under the warranty but the part that must be replaced is on backorder... which is why this is taking so long. "Warning for anyone in the Nashville TN area looking for home renovation. Disclaimer; this is our experience with a company named Four Seasons Surably. It all began on December 31, 2021 when we hired David the president of the company to renovate our home by adding an 8’ x 23’ addition to our master bath and bedroom. What we were told would be an estimated 4 to 6 week venture is now in month five. in the beginning all went well people showed up as they were supposed to for the first few weeks then slowly it began to be one or two days a week they would show. After that we would text David asking if anyone was going to show up with little to no response. We called as well receiving voicemail most of the time and again little to no response. At this time we started begging for anyone to show to complete our project with no answer day after day week after week. It has now been three weeks since anyone has shown nor have we had any promises of anyone to finish our project. The addition was partially finished , the bay window has been done yet part of the outside wood is left to the elements, the insulation underneath the renovation has yet to be covered from blowing around, when tiling in the bathroom they covered over our vent and were supposed to correct that by cutting into the flooring and adding the HVAC ventilation system which has yet to be done, we have exposed wires where lighting fixtures were supposed to be installed, we have 2’4’s holding up the bay window outside, exposed 2’x4’s in our bedroom where an entire wall was put in incorrectly. We paid David’s company an additional $1,600 to have a bathtub installed but had to hire a local plumber to install the faucets. And now after roughly 3 weeks of begging David to have someone show and him swearing that someone would be there the next day, the next week no one showed. Then we received a text from David stating it was a business decision that we sever ties and let us find someone else to complete the project, despite the fact that all of the above needs to be completed. Not only did he break the contract but now we have to find someone to finish all the items that were left undone with what’s left of our project funds. It is our opinion that anyone stay away from this company as they are untrustworthy and do not honor their word or their contracts. Again this is our personal experience and opinion."

Many benefits come with buying a home warranty when selling your home, but there are drawbacks to consider, too.
Pros
Peace of mind of home repair coverage
Incentive for buyers
Transferability to new owners
Prevent post-sale issues
Cons
Expensive cost
Exclusions of certain features or appliances
Coverage limits
Often difficult to understand
Potential wait for claim service
On average, a home warranty costs about $1,100, ranging from $80 to $8,300, depending on your home size and its features, type of home warranty plan, and the coverage included. Your home’s location also factors into the cost of a home warranty, with areas with a higher cost of living experiencing increased warranty costs.
Additional cost to consider include:
Deductibles: $75–$125 per call
Add-ons: $2–$35 per month
Premiums: $200–$1,200 per year
Several factors make a home warranty worth it or not, especially the age of your home and the condition and age of the appliances in it. If you buy an older home with most or all original appliances, a warranty may be worth the investment as these home features are more likely to need repairs or replacements. However, if you’re buying a new-construction home, a warranty may already be included, and you may not need to use it for several years. In this case, purchasing add-ons may not be worth the cost until a few years later.
Offering a home warranty when selling can make your property more appealing to potential buyers. The warranty gives them peace of mind that many systems or appliances will be covered if they need to be repaired or replaced in the near future. Additionally, the home warranty may cover problems that arise during the home sale, such as a leaky roof or water in the basement.
The main types of home warranties cover the basic essentials, but additional plan types focus on specific areas such as:
Appliance plan: This plan covers typical household appliances like refrigerators, stoves, washer and dryer, built-in microwaves, and dishwashers. It costs $360 and $540 per year.
System plan: Costing between $360 and $540 per year, this plan covers central home systems like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and water heaters.
Combination plan: This plan type covers both systems and appliances, costing between $545 and $1,500.
