"✨ Complete Clean made me a believer in Mondays—and that's saying something. ✨ When I reached out about our construction debris-filled air ducts, I hoped for competent help. What I got was a trio of legends: Jesse, Lefty, and Jose. They showed up on time (a rarity), treated our home with respect, and gave our ductwork the spa day it desperately needed. They even entertained my Monday blues and anime enthusiasm—special shoutout to Lefty for knowing that Eren was 100% right. Service-oriented? Absolutely. Priced competitively? Yep. And when our AC decided it needed a dramatic pause in the middle of summer, Jesse returned without hesitation to get it cooling again. That kind of follow-through is gold. Complete Clean doesn’t just clean ducts—they restore sanity, airflow, and a bit of faith in humanity. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it."

"Take it from an engineer - this is the company you want to ensure you have power when the grid goes down. AirTech is first rate and their customer service is the absolute best. I would gladly hire them again. You will regret going to someone else."

"We had insulation blown in our attic and our AC/Heat vent ducts cleaned. It was a great buying experience. Gary Hamra and Cameron performed the work and we felt like they really cared about us as a customer and took great care and pride in the services they provided us."

"We called JR HVAC Services to get a second opinion on our A/C unit not cooling. Brenton let me know when he was on the way to my house and also when he arrived. He was very respectful, which can be very rare nowadays, friendly, and knowledgeable. He looked at our A/C unit and found the problem and before he did anything, he went over what he found wrong with my husband and I and let us know how much it would cost before doing the work. Brenton was able to replace a part and get our unit cooling for less then $200 and the other company wanted to replace our unit and charge over $7000.00!! We are very pleased with this company and the service technician and the honesty."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

A home AC unit provides anywhere from one-half to five tons of cooling and requires approximately two to four pounds of refrigerant per ton of cooling. At approximately five to 10 minutes to fill one pound of refrigerant, a home that requires three tons of cooling will take about six to 12 pounds of refrigerant and approximately 30 minutes to two hours to completely recharge the unit.

Here’s how AC professionals will clean your AC coils:

  1. Unplug the AC unit or turn off the breaker to the unit in your circuit breaker box.

  2. Remove the faceplate.

  3. Spray a vacuum hose attachment or compressed air can to remove debris, dust, dirt, and grime.

  4. Use a soft-bristled fin comb to remove stubborn caked-on debris.

  5. Use the vacuum hose to suck up any extra debris.

  6. Take a coil-safe cleaning solution and spray it onto the coils. Try to choose a no-rinse solution.

  7. Let the solution sit for at least 15 minutes.

  8. Gently wipe away loosened grime and debris with a microfiber cloth.

  9. Reattach the faceplate, plug in your AC system, or turn the breaker back on.

If you have central air conditioning, it’s fine to run your AC all day if that’s what you want—as long as the AC unit is in good condition. But if your AC runs constantly when you don’t want it to, there may be a problem with your system (like the ones we’ve mentioned above). Window AC units and wall air conditioners aren’t as powerful as central AC, so you should only run those kinds of air conditioners for eight to 12 hours at a time.

A new HVAC system combines components to control indoor temperature and air quality. Features include a furnace or heat pump and an air conditioner or evaporator coil, depending on the climate requirements. It also involves a network of ductwork for air distribution, a thermostat for temperature regulation, and electrical connections. Air purifiers or humidifiers can be integrated to improve indoor air quality.

Yes, a dirty evaporator coil can freeze up. Dirty evaporator coils can’t absorb or transfer heat properly. The dirt and grime restrict airflow, which is needed to move heat throughout the system properly. Your air conditioning unit could freeze over, or it can cause your heat pump to freeze.
