"John was excellent to work with. He was always prompt and easy to communicate with. He went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our garage floor. We have an older home (1974) and the garage floor was very slippery. We wanted an epoxy finish to reduce fall risks. He was available to do the job in just a couple of days. It looks beautiful. We had several colors to choose from. I think the front porch will be next!"

For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors, but avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this can damage the wood. You can further protect your floors by placing mats at entryways to catch dirt and moisture and putting felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches. For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.

Vinyl and laminate flooring can have a similar life span. Both well-maintained laminate and luxury vinyl flooring can last up to 25 years. The exception is the thinner type of vinyl flooring that comes in sheets and lasts less than 10 years.
