Technically Aesthetic General ContractorsI have never so looked forward to writing a review. I'm sure I can't do justice to this great company. Use this company if you are in the need of someone that can be trusted to do a really outstanding job with a very fair price. These days it is really hard to find someone that tells you the truth about anything, Mr. Mitchell and his team are the exception. Everything and I mean everything happened just as it was laid out to me before I signed the contract. I was told the day that the project would start and received a phone call to keep me informed of the progress. We had no delay's and no excuses, none were needed. The project was finished in 12-1/2 days, right on schedule. We wanted to cover our concrete patio with construction that did not look added on, "Mission Accomplished". To Tyrone I say thank you and expect more happy customers, my neighbors are asking for your business cards so get ready, they are on their way.- Cheryl P.

Mr. Fix-It Home Improvements & Bath MastersDarrell and his crew removed our old deck and in it's place, installed a screen porch and new deck surrounding it. Darrell provided some design ideas on the screen porch, and was very helpful. The cedar trim around all the screen openings looks awesome! The workmen showed up on time, did an excellent job, and did it all for a reasonable price. Now that it's done, we love our new screen porch and deck. Before starting this prokect, we talked to 4 contractors. We selected Mr. Fix-It. If we had it to do over again, we'd still select Mr, Fix-It to build our new deck and screen porch.- Ronald B.

He and his crew were very professional, honest and helpful. They did everything they said they were going to do and the work got done in a reasonable amount of time. Chad Henry ConstructionChad was recommended by a friend of my wife and I looked him up on Angies List as well. We had a general idea of what we wanted but Chad worked with us to refine the plan, pointing out problems we might encounter with our original ideas. He then made a drawing to lets us see what it would look like and see if we would want to make any changes.He gave us an estimate that was lower than we expected. He and his crew were very professional during the whole process. The sub-contracrtors he used were very professional as well and Chad was on hand to make sure we were satisfied with their work.Chad went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect matching our existing siding and roof shingles exactly. Our new sunroom is beautiful and looks like it was part of the original house construction. Our overall experience was wonderful and we have enlisted Chad for another project in the near future.- Aubrey H.

I was contacted every step of the way and informed who would be there each week to do their work. I was also informed of any delays necessary. All of the workers were very professional and performed excellent work.. They were also friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions. They were there promptly each day ready to work and at the end of each day, they cleaned up their work areas and hauled away any material to be trashed. I was very pleased to be able to add things to the project that I had originally forgoten. This was not a problem and was handled in a prompt and professional manner. I was also pleased to have various professionals give me suggstions on things I could do differently and they always added to my overall satisaction with the project.I am highly satisfied with every experience I have had during this project and would recomment Mr Fixit for any home project you might be considering.- Connie H.

Mr. Fix-It Home Improvements & Bath MastersMr Fixit built a screened in porch on an existing deck of our house. they did an excellent job and I would recommend them anytime. they were on budget and on time which is great considering the amount of rain we had. there was an existing bump out on my deck that I wanted incorporated into the porch it was a difficult work around but Jamie, the carpenter, spent a full day just on that section and it turned out wonderful. Any questions or concerns I had were dealt with immediately. the work is good quality work they take pride in what they do and I would use them again anytime.- Shawn C.

Mr. Fix-It Home Improvements & Bath MastersThey did a great job with both the bathroom and screened in porch. The bathroom was completed before the school year started, which I had requested. The screened in porch is fantastic! They did a great job with everything- extending the roof, moving gutters, insulating one wall and the ceiling, installing electrical outlets and ceiling fans, covering all exposed wood, putting up siding, and installing the tile floor. All employees were pleasant and very careful about cleaning up every afternoon .There are several veterans working for the company. Mr. Fix-It Home Improvements & Bath MastersOverall, we are EXTREMELY satisfied with this contractor! He was VERY dependable, honest, and professional. We were actually within days of going with another contractor for this job when a friend at work recommended Mr. Fix-It. After getting the quote from Darrell, he got the job. He came in at almost $5000 cheaper and delivered what we believed to be a far superior product that what we were going to be getting! Darrell's crew was always there when they said they would be, and they finished the job in a timely manner. They were very professional, and did very, very, very good work. The trim work on the screen room is immaculate. Even the electrician and siding guys were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend Darrell to ANYONE with complete confidence. In addition, he is great to work with (very flexible), communicates well and answers all phone calls and voice mail. Restoration Construction and Roofing contractors of East Tennessee. Experienced in metal, shingle, and commercial single ply roof systems. Kitchen/ bath and whole home remodels. New builds and additions.

Anthony abandoned us after we paid 90% of the cost for a 2 bedroom and living room addition. With not even 50% of the job complete. The quote was for $50,000 with half down. When Anthony's subcontractors did finally show up, they had no idea what they were supposed to be doing. One of the workers thought they were building a deck. This is an addition on 18ft post. We later found out the subcontractors had never done anything like this. For a project that was supposed to be done within 3 weeks, it took 3 weeks for them to take out the existing deck and put up the post. The subcontractors constantly stood around, argued with each other, and stared at things trying to figure out how to do things. We constantly tried to contact Anthony and would rarely get a response. We would ask questions and just be told " trust us". We would tell them we wanted something a certain way they would respond with , ' you don't want that'. This includes an exit door for emergencies. While we were away for the weekend, one of the helpers installed our electrical wires, switches and outlets. We were told an electrician did it. At this point we questioned when the inspector will come to see it. The next day we received a letter in the mail stating a permit needed to be pulled for this project. I called the county and they stated no permit had been pulled, and no inspections have been done and they couldn't find proof that he was licensed. We asked Anthony to please stop the work until he shows us permits and inspection reports. The next day Anthony came to our home and told us a permit is not required for the county and that if they pulled one it would cost us $700 for each inspection. We knew better. We showed Anthony the letter from the county. He stated he would pull the permit. Three weeks later a permit was pulled. Anthony then asked us for $15000 so the deck could be completed. We gave it to him. The deck was completed by other subcontractors. At this time, no one else showed up to finish our addition. There were no electrical permits pulled. The drywall was up and showed even more that some of our walls were not straight. We tried for the next 3 months to contact Anthony and when we did get an answer we just got promises. The inspector from the county stopped by and told us an engineer needs to be called and check the structure. We contacted Anthony and he stated he would get his engineer out to look at it. Weeks later the engineer came with Anthony and we were told we would get a report and that he would send a report to the county. Again, weeks later, I asked Anthony if my addition would be done by Thanksgiving. He stated, yes, that they were just waiting on the county. I called the county and they stated they have not received a report from the engineer and have heard nothing from Anthony. From this point to now, March 2021, we have not heard from Anthony or the subcontractors. We, thanks to our wonderful electrician we had used prior to this, have found someone to continue the work, At this point, we are expecting to pay $35,000 to repair all of the mistakes made by the subcontractors and finish the job.

I went through Lowe's for this job and they contracted Erwin Aluminum to do the work. 2 weeks after my 1-year warranty ended with Lowe's, I had my gutters cleaned and was told that there was some water in one end of the gutters above my garage. I called Lowe's and they refused to touch it because my 1 year warranty was up. I called Erwin Aluminum, who were the installers, and explained to them that Lowe's would not help me and they came right our and fixed the problem. I was very impressed because they did not have to do that. Now I recommend Erwin Aluminum to anyone who needs gutter work done. I've even used them a second time to repair a leaky seam in my gutters on the back of the house. They really know what they are doing and are such nice people.
