"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

Welcome to Air Conditioning Service, Inc., where for over 50 years we have promised to do only the work that is necessary! We only recommend replacements when a unit should not or can not be repaired. Family-owned and operated and several generations later, we have been providing our customers with dependable service throughout Nashville and the surrounding areas. We have built our company on honesty and integrity in everything we do and it shows with our level of service. Established HVAC company, having been in business for over 50 years. Additional service area: Nashville & surrounding Counties.

"I have used Air Conditioning Service (the "Green Trucks") in both of my homes since 1978 and have always received great service. Their prices are fair and I've never been "up sold". Today, I needed work on my AC and Eddie was the service technician that took care of the problem – he continued the company's reputation of being "the best." I remain a very happy customer. Highly recommended!"

2008 years of experience

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

5 employees. Do not use subs. Cost determined by flat rate. SERVICE CALL is $89.99 Additional phone numbers - (615) 297-7353 & (615)361-6812. Award winning.

"Bobby came and immediately said we needed a new ice maker for the refrigerator. He installed a new one but we still couldn't get any ice after spending about $280 We called again and he came out and realized it WASN'T the ice maker but a water valve. We've been waiting for a water valve since March, the NEW ice make doesn't produce ice, and we're short $280. BAAAD BUSINESS."

"Terrible company. Possibly a scam. They attempted to sell me a part they didn't even have, and after waiting patiently for OVER A MONTH, I canceled my order. When calling them to confirm, they told me they never had the part to sell to me. What a joke!"

Kitchen exhaust fans are regularly exposed to grease. To remove grease from a range hood, make a paste from baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the greasy areas and let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping it off with a cloth or sponge. If that doesn’t work, use a degreaser soap or cleaning product.

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.

To effectively service small appliances, perform routine checks for wear and tear, clean components regularly, and ensure all connections are secure.

Yes, most include manufacturer warranties. Confirm terms before purchasing.

Built-in ovens are installed directly into a wall to sit flush with a kitchen's cabinets, counters, or walls. These ovens offer a streamlined appearance that can blend into the rest of your kitchen aesthetic. And if you want it to blend in even more, you can opt to put a cabinet door over the unit to match the rest of your cabinets.

Another benefit of built-in ovens is that they help preserve your floor space. If you opt for a standalone oven, you'll need to find a place for it in your kitchen. However, since built-in ovens are flush with your walls or cabinets, they won't encroach on your square footage.
