The job went well Bought our second Fisher Paykel Drawer Dishwasher The first lasted 20 years and had only 1 minor repair in the 20 years we had it Salesman was very nice and professional and promptly responded to calls or emails with answers to our questions The 2 installers were very nice and respectful removed old dishwasher and installed new dishwasher in less than an hour cleaned up any trash they had I definitely recommend this company Melinda and Barclay Hickman

It took several times out to identify our fridge was leaking. Turns out the water line was leaking, which also broke our ice machine. After multiple additional trips out, they were able to repair everything. Overall, they service providers were knowledgeable but not well prepared.

They are trust worthy in quoting the cost of necessary repairs so that we were able to make decisions when to repair and when to replace an appliance.

They were very helpful and efficient

We were in the market for a new double wall oven as our had died and was not repairable. From our initial experience in the sales room with Rich Moore to the installing guys who came out to measure our space to the actual installation crew, all went great. I had heard mixed reviews about these guys but I am here to say that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Rich even made sure they got out and had the new oven in before the holidays. Was got an Electrolux oven (wave touch) and love it.

I called A1 Appliance after I had waited for 15 days for a refrigerator repair from another company which had been contracted by my home warranty provider. The parts department (Matt or Matthew) was courteous and within 5 minutes located a part on one of their repair trucks. The part was immediately available to pick up and was cheaper than I could find on the internet. I have purchased appliances at A1 before and I will certainly continue to use them. Their service is outstanding.

I bought an extended warranty for this appliance, so there was no cost to fix it. The part had to be ordered, so there was a delay of a few days before someone could come out and install it, but the day of service, the repairman arrived right on time, was very polite and professional, and had the job done in a reasonable amount of time. He even took time to sand down the underside of the countertop where the dishwasher door was rubbing, which may have contributed to the control panel problem. The dishwasher works perfectly again, and I would recommend this company.

Very professional and punctual. Was quite happy with the experience other than $169 to be told there is nothing that they can do. Not really their fault but still no resolution to my problem!

My experience was excellent. We had a flood, so after the flood, we had a thunderstorm. Lightning hit near the house and it ignited my gas range in my kitchen. It was totally burned out. There was no way that it could get fixed. We looked around for gas ranges and we found one at A-1 Appliance Company. They had a technician that came out to install it. It was a Memorial Day weekend. I think that was above and beyond a company. They were great.

Everything went smooth from the first phone call to the initial service date. They were able to come look at the dryer in a reasonable amount of time and were remarkably prompt when they showed up.

I placed an email to A-1 Appliance and Jeremy answered and helped me, I definetly would refer this company to anyone who needs a repair!

This was the first bad experience I have had with this company. I was not very satisfactory. The dishwasher is only a year old. A guy came out a month before and misdiagnosed it as well as created a leak that ran water all over the floor. The washer then did not even work then. Next, they order another part. This second time, a month later though, it worked. This just took a long time and I lost confidence in their work quality.

The Frigidaire dishwasher we had purchased at their store the previous year (with extended 3-year warranty) was making strange and progressively louder grinding noises, so I called for service. It took at least 2-3 days before anyone could come, and the repairman claimed there was nothing wrong, that the noise was and quot;normal,and quot; etc. He basically refused to accept that the noise was NOT normal, and was a lot worse than when new, and asked my grown son to sign a form stating that work was performed satisfactorily. Since my son recognized that the problem had not been fixed, he declined to sign, and the repairman simply left without any follow-up. The noise worsened and eventually, after another several months, the pump motor stopped completely. We called for a repairman but no one could come for at least 4 days. This time we worked on it ourselves, and my son discovered the dishwasher pump motor electrical connections were not properly grounded, and he fixed it himself and got it going again. On top of all these issues, the original installer from A-1 had left a bracket with a very sharp edge just under the edge of the counter. I had to file off the edge but one of the brackets had been fastened with a screw into the bottom of the formica counter that was also stripped, and there was no easy way to fix it. If that wasn't enough, the service dept. actually cancelled an appointment they had made, saying they didn't have time (although I live only about 5 minutes from them).

Had a leak in the water line to the ice maker; it would make some ice and leave a big puddle of water on the floor. Jason immediately found the leak, replaced the water line and valve and after trying several times he finaly got the ice machine to recycle and start feeding water into the ice machine. Within 24 hours the machine was making ice again. During the whole process Jason described what he was doing and told me function of each part demonstrating he knew the function of the frig inside and out. As he was putting the back shield on he realized there was more heat coming out the back of the machine than should be. He immediately identified the fan that was not working, work that I thought was repaired several months ago by another company. A week later he returned with a new part, but soon found that the part was defective (did not have the proper voltage) and he had to order another part and will make a third trip in another week. I have Jason's number on speed dial and will definitely call him again if I have future frig problems.

I liked the job they did and getting it fixed. They were here when I called them. Overall they did a really good job.I would use them again.

A.1. sent technician to diagnose problem on 3/8/12. When problem was diagnosed, the correct valve was ordered. A.1. called when the part was received and scheduled a follow-up visit to repair the dishwasher by installing the new valve. The technician arrived today (3/21/12) to repair faulty valve. The dishwasher appears to be working properly. The technician was friendly, courteous, and provided a full explanation. He dealt very well with my small Yorkie who was very curious about what was going on in the kitchen. A.1. received a lower performance rating on punctuality because the follow-up visit on 3/21/12 was scheduled for 8am. When the technician had not arrived by 8:30am, I called A.1. to check the status of his arrival. I was then told that the technician would arrive between 8 and 9am. The technician called at 8:50am to say that he would arrive after 9am. He arrived at 9:15am.

They provided us with excellent service. I have been using them for many years and have never had any problems with them.

A-1 was very professional, even though they couldn't work on my appliance. I have a vintage Chambers gas stove and was looking for someone to work on it. The repairman came out, but after looking at it, decided he wouldn't risk doing the work because of his unfamiliarity with it. I appreciated his honesty, although I was disappointed he wouldn't give it a try. I would use A-1 again for other appliance work, if I needed someone.

They were excellent. They did great work. They had misdiagnosed a problem but as soon as I contacted they were and responsive and understanding. They sent me my money back and took care of the problem right away.

I like their demeanor and their personnel. They were very helpful. I really like that A-1 has their own service department, so if there is a warranty issue they will come out to fix it. I would recommend them to others.

They had lots of suggestions but I had already picked out what I wanted, which was I am sure less money than they wanted me to spend. I had found that they carried it or they could order it for me and they would deliver it and hook it up. That is pretty much why I chose them. I had dealt with them previously about 10 years ago and they had done a fine job, so I was fine going back there. I think the salesmen there work on commission so they latch on to you and don't let you out of their sight. They have a lot of knowledge about each of the things they sell, which is nice. I had decided on the dishwasher because I had read about it so I just told them what I wanted and they went ahead and did it for me. The unit was about $400.00 and there was a service charge of $75.00 that included delivery and hook-up. I had checked the price elsewhere as well and they were fine. They were very good on punctuality. I would go back to them in the future.

Dishwasher not working and had to call several companies to find one who works on Bosch. They were punctual and professional and worked with the factory to get a replacement part that was a factory recall. It did not cost us anything.

Dustin arrived with half-hour to spare. He listened to me carefully and began to work. He took several panels off, flushed some lines, checked electrical points. After about an hour he recommended I buy another refrigerator, that repairs/replacement of condenser etc. would be nearly a thousand. He told me that A-1 has a large selection and will beat anyone else's price. He put it back together, re-cut the plastic water line and tightened the valve under the sink. The condenser was barely working. After I helped him move it back, the motor kicked on. Dustin was surprised. He stayed for another half-hour to see if the chill pattern grew -- it did. He apologized saying that it could be some small electrical glitch. A week later the refrigerator is running perfectly and has not wet the floor.

I visited the store multiple times and got excellent advice and help. The service department has been very helpful. They worked with the manufacturing company to replace a refrigerator that was not working properly.

This company was recommended to me by our kitchen remodeler and I thought I would look here just to see what sort of selection and prices were offered. The salesman, Tom Burns, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, pointing out where some lower-priced products actually had better features not offered in the next higher-priced model. The selection on display was comprehensive; none of the "big box" stores could touch them. I checked A-1's price for the same model against competitors and (surprisingly) found A-1 a little lower, so I ordered the microwave from A-1 and it came in later the same week. Tom was also able to give us helpful advice about an electric range that we will be purchasing later as part of our remodeling project. I was surprised at negative comments in other Angie's List reports but recommend that prospective customers review them, work with individuals who were commended, and discuss any concerns with them you have based on those reports.
