The job went well Bought our second Fisher Paykel Drawer Dishwasher The first lasted 20 years and had only 1 minor repair in the 20 years we had it Salesman was very nice and professional and promptly responded to calls or emails with answers to our questions The 2 installers were very nice and respectful removed old dishwasher and installed new dishwasher in less than an hour cleaned up any trash they had I definitely recommend this company Melinda and Barclay Hickman

The first trip they could not use the part they ordered so they just cleaned old seal and put it back on.  This worked for about a year but then failed.
The second trip took the installer 15 minutes to install new seal.  The labor charge for this was $120.00 and the part another $107.00.  I am supposed to wait for the new seal to have time to expand.
This just seems way to expensive $430.00 to have a freezer seal fixed.

Everything went perfectly! Salesman Tom Burns helped me choose appliances, as he had years ago when I first bough a Fisher Paykel washer & dryer set for my old condo, that I had to move out of after it was flooded three times in three years. Tom helped recommend appliances I needed for my new condo, in compliance with a few building constraints and specifications for duct work in my new condo that I would not have been able to comply with without Tom's invaluable input. The deliveries all went smoothly, thanks to Eddie, Ben, and Ron, once the broken microwave was removed. The deliveries were all on time, and the A-1 staff was very helpful and friendly. I will always use A-1 to buy any appliance, and I will always ask Tom Burns advice in choosing an appliance.

The day before the appointment we received a voice mail that we had been scheduled for 3-5 pm the next day, the ONLY time that day we couldn't meet the technician.  We called to get an earlier time but we were told "the technicians are all scheduled at specified times requested by the customer several days ago."  When we asked why we also couldn't get a preferred time, as we had made our appointment SIX days before, they relented, scheduling us for late morning. 
When the technician came the only problem was a high temperature thermostat, basically a small fuse.  The cost of the part was so small they didn't even charge us for it.  The technician was at our house about 40 minutes.  He DID do a VERY thorough job, but the cost was over $240!   We live about 5 minutes from A-1.  We had been told on the phone the cost would be a $109 trip charge plus parts and labor.  That seemed fine, but as it turned out, with the parts cost of $0, the labor cost amounted to over $130 for less than 40 minutes, close to $200 an hour. That does seem exorbitant!
We have previously been pleased with A-1 for appliance purchases, but we won't use A-1 again for service.

After several purchases of premium appliances (e.g. Sub-zero), my last purchase has been nothing but a disaster.  I arrived at A-1 in mid-April 2015 to purchase a newly released Sub-zero wine fridge.  When I arrived, I was saddened to learn that Deborah had retired - what a tremendous loss to the company.  So, I met Rich.  First, he told me the unit I was curious about didn't exist.  I pressed him that indeed it did and is on the Sub-zero Website.  So, he reluctantly looked and discovered that the model I wanted did in fact exist.  So, I paid for the unit in full.  As this was on a Saturday, he told me he would let me know when the unit would arrive the following Tuesday.  Tuesday came and went.  As did Wednesday.  So, I asked on Thursday - when will the unit arrive. About another week was the response.  That week came and still no communication from Rich.  Upon reaching out again - one more week was the answer.  That week began to slip by and no communication.  Well, after threatening to cancel my order due to poor communication, that part did get a little better.  Each date of planned arrival that passed, Rich did update me.  
Then this past week (June 22, 2015), the unit did actually arrive and it was installed on June 26, 2016.  After the installation was complete and Kevin left, I began to look around the unit and needed to move it over a few inches.  Rolling the unit from the wall, I heard a "clang," and discovered a very nice stainless steel trim piece that was left behind the unit.  In looking at the installation instruction, I discovered that it is indeed a finishing trim piece, but the handle and hinge side pieces to which the trim piece would affix were installed backwards, so the trim piece cannot be affixed appropriately, since it goes on the handle side.  More infuriating, though, is that the installation charge was $250. 
Fortunately, premium appliances can purchased from several companies in Nashville.  Service is the distinguishing feature, and A-1 doesn't provide that premium service and attention to detail that is expected to accompany premium products.

When not secured to the wall or installed in a cabinet the weight of extended shelves and wine bottles will cause the unit to tip forward causing damage and/or injury. The refrigerator is not designed to be freestanding. The side pieces are not installed backwards. The trim piece behind the refrigerator is needed when the unit is properly installed in a cabinet. It cannot be attached until the side pieces are attached to a cabinet. The side pieces will appear backwards until installed. Kevin placed the trim behind the refrigerator for safekeeping until it can be installed. I am sorry this information was not communicated by my associates. I request scheduling a time to review the installation at your convenience. Please contact me to discuss details. I am grateful for your business and hope to earn your trust again. It took several times out to identify our fridge was leaking. Turns out the water line was leaking, which also broke our ice machine. After multiple additional trips out, they were able to repair everything. Overall, they service providers were knowledgeable but not well prepared.

We were in the market for a new double wall oven as our had died and was not repairable. From our initial experience in the sales room with Rich Moore to the installing guys who came out to measure our space to the actual installation crew, all went great. I had heard mixed reviews about these guys but I am here to say that our experience was nothing short of perfect. Rich even made sure they got out and had the new oven in before the holidays. Was got an Electrolux oven (wave touch) and love it.

I bought an extended warranty for this appliance, so there was no cost to fix it. The part had to be ordered, so there was a delay of a few days before someone could come out and install it, but the day of service, the repairman arrived right on time, was very polite and professional, and had the job done in a reasonable amount of time. He even took time to sand down the underside of the countertop where the dishwasher door was rubbing, which may have contributed to the control panel problem. The dishwasher works perfectly again, and I would recommend this company.

My experience was excellent. We had a flood, so after the flood, we had a thunderstorm. Lightning hit near the house and it ignited my gas range in my kitchen. It was totally burned out. There was no way that it could get fixed. We looked around for gas ranges and we found one at A-1 Appliance Company. They had a technician that came out to install it. It was a Memorial Day weekend. I think that was above and beyond a company. They were great.

This was the first bad experience I have had with this company.

I was not very satisfactory. The dishwasher is only a year old. A guy came out a month before and misdiagnosed it as well as created a leak that ran water all over the floor. The washer then did not even work then.

Next, they order another part. This second time, a month later though, it worked. This just took a long time and I lost confidence in their work quality.

The Frigidaire dishwasher we had purchased at their store the previous year (with extended 3-year warranty) was making strange and progressively louder grinding noises, so I called for service. It took at least 2-3 days before anyone could come, and the repairman claimed there was nothing wrong, that the noise was and quot;normal,and quot; etc. He basically refused to accept that the noise was NOT normal, and was a lot worse than when new, and asked my grown son to sign a form stating that work was performed satisfactorily. Since my son recognized that the problem had not been fixed, he declined to sign, and the repairman simply left without any follow-up.
The noise worsened and eventually, after another several months, the pump motor stopped completely. We called for a repairman but no one could come for at least 4 days. This time we worked on it ourselves, and my son discovered the dishwasher pump motor electrical connections were not properly grounded, and he fixed it himself and got it going again.
On top of all these issues, the original installer from A-1 had left a bracket with a very sharp edge just under the edge of the counter. I had to file off the edge but one of the brackets had been fastened with a screw into the bottom of the formica counter that was also stripped, and there was no easy way to fix it.
If that wasn't enough, the service dept. actually cancelled an appointment they had made, saying they didn't have time (although I live only about 5 minutes from them).

Had a leak in the water line to the ice maker; it would make some ice and leave a big puddle of water on the floor. Jason immediately found the leak, replaced the water line and valve and after trying several times he finaly got the ice machine to recycle and start feeding water into the ice machine. Within 24 hours the machine was making ice again. During the whole process Jason described what he was doing and told me function of each part demonstrating he knew the function of the frig inside and out. As he was putting the back shield on he realized there was more heat coming out the back of the machine than should be. He immediately identified the fan that was not working, work that I thought was repaired several months ago by another company. A week later he returned with a new part, but soon found that the part was defective (did not have the proper voltage) and he had to order another part and will make a third trip in another week. I have Jason's number on speed dial and will definitely call him again if I have future frig problems.
