"It was great. They got here fast (within hours of submitting for a recommendation on here). The guy was professional and up front about the pricing. He cut open the ceiling around where the leak was. Found out no pipes were affected. Ran some tests on the tub and finally found the source - the shower/tub fixtures. So, he sealed it and then cleaned up downstairs. In all - took an hour. It was awesome and not as expensive as I thought."

"Harmond helped me over video link to test the components in my broken refrigerator. The testing confirmed that it was the compressor that had failed. I purchased a new refrigerator because I decided it was not worth the cost to replace the compressor."

"We love the work done in our bathroom. Our old tile shower had leaked through the lining and ruined the floor. Five Start replaced the floor and installed a beautiful new shower."

"A - Tim gave a thorough explanation of the products & services that would be performed. Also he gave us options. He was patient and professional. When he finished his work he walked me through what he did & let me test and check. Overall, I am very pleased and I feel that found our "go to" plumber! Can not answer as I did not compare although we did receive discounts!"

"Great presentation by Nick. Very nice, informative, professional and knowledgeable. Super quality products and vert6competitive pricing. Because of very busy installation schedules, it will take 4-6 weeks before walkin shower remodel can happen. We can wait, no problem. It will be worth it."

"The team who installed our walk-in shower had great knowledge and precision in their assignment. They cleaned up all the mess from the transition and took great care of our hardwood floors and ceramic tile in our home by placing cloths from the front doir through the house to the bath. We have been very pleased with the project and the team we were assigned!"

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

The microscopic asbestos fibers do not cause eye irritation, throat irritation, or lung irritation. If you are inhaling fibers, you will not know it. This lack of immediate symptoms is one of the reasons why asbestos is so dangerous. You cannot know for certain if you are inhaling fibers, which is why you must wear safety gear if you could have any chance of an exposure while working.

If you have an older electrical system with fraying wires and other signs of damage, removal  may be the best course of action. When asbestos begins to break down, it's more likely to become airborne, increasing the risk of health issues when it's inhaled.

However, if the system is in good condition and doesn't have visible signs of wear or damage, leaving it alone may be the safest course of action. An asbestos abatement and removal professional can help you determine the best way to proceed.

It is strongly advised not to touch or disturb asbestos-containing materials unless necessary. Asbestos fibers can be released into the air when the material is damaged or disturbed, posing serious health risks if inhaled. It is best to leave any handling of asbestos to trained professionals who can remove the asbestos safely.

No, but it’s common that they do. Gravity furnaces weren’t terribly efficient so wrapping either the ductwork in asbestos, the furnace itself, or both, was something done regularly. This allowed the system to retain more heat. At the time, this greatly enhanced the efficiency of the furnaces but it wasn’t until later that we became aware of just how carcinogenic and dangerous asbestos could be.

Homes built before the 1990s may contain asbestos, but the only way to be sure is to have your home tested. Hire an asbestos testing and removal service to determine whether you have the hazardous material in your home and the best process for removing or sealing it.
