"10:9 lawn care always takes care of my lawn and it looks fantastic, they are timely efficient and very reasonably priced for the work done, very happy with the consistency and follow ups in regards to when they are coming and flexible scheduling when it comes to more frequent or prolonged times between lawn care. Troy is very serious about giving the best for his customers"
"I was very pleased with the work Sean Harris and his assistant, Gary, did for me. Sean came to give me an estimate the day I contacted him. He was able to schedule me one week out, and it was so nice to have the two of them appear on the day and at the time they had given me. I think they did a wonderful job. Everything looks so much better. They were very careful to protect my plants, and they even pulled any weeds I had missed before covering the area with mulch. I know Sean does much more involved landscaping work as well, and I will definitely call him if I have something else that needs to be done. It was very apparent to me that Sean takes great pride in his work, and I highly recommend him."
"I was initially going to hire Mike just to install the irrigation system for my lawn (plumbing, sprinkler heads, controller), but ended up having him replace sod as well (3500 sq ft). I had four other contractors give me quote on this big project and Mike beat all but one (although that company didn't seem very professional to me). They did a good job installing the sprinklers and placing new lawn. I kid you not, at some point the whole crew was working under a pouring rain just to meet the goal on time! Definitely the type of company I'd hire if I had to do my project all over again."
"Jorge was prompt and professional. He communicated very effectively with us about the job of bushwhacking overgrown banks and gardens behind our house. He follows through to complete the work as specified . Even pouring rain did not deter him! We would definitely highly recommend him to anyone in need of landscaping services."
"Dirt Works LLC did an outstanding job on our deck teardown and excavation project! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly efficient. They handled the demolition with care, ensuring no damage to surrounding structures, and left the site perfectly clean and ready for the next phase of our project. Communication was clear throughout, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. I highly recommend Dirt Works LLC for anyone needing reliable and top-quality excavation or teardown services—five stars!"

Mowing a lawn will, unfortunately, not get rid of clover, and it may even encourage it to flourish. Let your lawn grow to a healthy height of over 3 inches and then set your mower blades no lower than this level. Higher grass will cut out the light that clover loves and discourage it from spreading.
DIY is possible for small properties. Professional services ensure consistent quality and proper maintenance for large areas.
Buffalo grass does not turn green as early in the spring as some other grasses. If you have a heavily shaded yard, buffalo grass may not receive enough sunlight to thrive. It’s not as dense as some other grass varieties, so it may not feel as comfortable on bare feet.
Depending on the method you choose to remove grass, it may or may not matter whether the grass is wet or dry when you perform the task. A dryer lawn will be easier to negotiate with a sod cutter, especially if you're not planning to reuse the turf. However, using a shovel by hand might be a little easier if the ground is slightly damp but not so much that it sticks to the tool.
The process to winterize your landscaping depends on the plants you have, but generally speaking, you should rake your lawn to avoid leaves from smothering your grass and leading to mold and fungi growth, wrap young trees to protect from fluctuating temperatures, and fertilize your lawn to provide some nutrients for the grass through the colder temperatures. You can also consider marking off small trees and shrubs to avoid accidentally damaging them with snow removal tools.
