Firehouse Chimney aka Seymour Chimney Cleaning was started in 1983 by my father and brother, Al and Mark Leitch, Dad saw a need for a local sweep due to the high number of chimney fires in the community. Al is a 30 year veteran with the local fire department. Now I (Kent, Al's youngest son) have managed and operated the company since 2000. I work full time at the City of Knoxville Fire Dept and attend church at Calvary Chapel Church. Our first priority is safety, 2nd is affordability. We treat people like we would want our grandparents treated, with kindness and respect. The customer is right. We always appreciate any feedback, whether good or bad, it helps us improve and grow. We are a debt free company that is family owned and operated with help from selected firefighters and paramedics. We offer free inspections in the Seymour / south Knox area. "This is to update my last review from Feb 2018. DO NOT do business with this company. I was given a TWO year warranty on the installation of my unit. It expires in a month. My unit has pulled away from my house. YES, you read that right. The unit was installed on an unlevel area with mulch and pea gravel underneath the fiberglass pad that the unit sits on. The owner of the company claims that it is a landscaping issue. Again, YES you read that right. This company does not, I repeat- DOES NOT, honor their warranty. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this company."

My husband and I were very pleased with their work, and three years from now we will be calling them to do it again!"

"Snowden's Roofing is a very dependable company. Lynn did EVERYTHING he said he would do. Said he would come at 12:30pm to do an estimate (That's when he pulled into the driveway.) Said crew would be here around 7:30am to start (They were on the roof by then) Job was finished by end of day. New roof on, lawn clean. Other than the color of my roof, you couldn't tell anyone had been here. In my opinion, this is the only name and phone number I would recommend to anyone !!!! Great job, Lynn and Crew."

Reliable Building Services is a General Construction firm located in Greeneville Tennessee. "We began the building process of our new home in December of 2015 and move in in July 2016. I decided to not post negative reviews at the time because I had been so distraught during the process I just wanted to forget about the whole process and move on but today is the day to leave the review. The entire home building process was a nightmare from the beginning to end. The first issue was with basement door framed out to the wrong size, installed and charged for retaining walls without any communication to us after we specifically stated we did not want retaining walls. We had several windows and doors not centered properly. They installed the wrong tile in guest bathroom. And these were just a few of the issues we had during the build. I guess the one main issue was with the owner of the company and the way we were treated. We were told to not go to the home everyday and look for mistakes and any mistakes would be taken care at the end of the process. He locked us out of our own home and would not let us in to see what was going on until he received his final payment. He wanted the final payment before the house was completed. It was an issue everyday of something being done wrong or him treating us terrible. We did not have one change order in the home but he kept telling us that he had $30,000 of his own money in this home. Now I am posting this today, 6 years later because we decided to have the metal replaced on all our door frames due to the metal work being so bad. After removing the metal wrapping we found all the garage doors and man doors to be rotting and all the door frames are going to have to be replaced after only 6 years. Please beware!!!!!"
