  The projects did not go well. While Lee was knowledgeable about carpentry, his quality of work and judgement was questionable. We had to make it clear to him that we wanted quality not quick work several times because we saw that as soon as he would rush something, it would start to look really bad. Which in turn required him to take things down and redo them so that it would look right. So 2 projects that should have taken 5-7 days to complete, took over 3 weeks before we paid them and told them that we would finish the work ourselves. The last day we had them on our property was the last straw. Given that the sun sets at about 6:45 each night, he was still cutting wood and nailing things in at 7:00pm at night with head lamps on their head. I had to text his wife/business manager to ask her to tell him to stop working because not only was it unsafe, but they were rushing through what they were doing. Even then, they didn't stop working until it was 7:30 and pitch black outside. Also be wary, they did not clean up properly after themselves each day. I found nails in my driveway and flower beds (as shown in photo collection) and ultimately, a nail in my tire. Attached are photos of several things how they left things

  Matt and Heather did an awesome job. They hand crafted and stained the 12 cedar shutters, stained the 8 6X 6 cedar shutters to match shutters. They installed bead board across our entire porch ceiling and painted it haint blue, looks amazing. They previously repaired a bunch of rotted wood and repainted to match house color. I would definitely recommend them for your home projects. Great work at reasonable prices

  I spent a lot of time walking in East Memphis during 2020. I was impressed by a painter in the neighborhood. When it was our turn to have the house painted and repaired, I called Aaron Painting. I was not disappointed. The final price came in right on the estimate. The guys who did the painting showed up a few minutes early each day. They got right to work. Each day they did a visual inspection; made a plan; and worked all day. After the first day, I realized I had made a mistake in the color. I decided that I wanted the cedar shingles and the brick to be different colors. Don (the owner) said no problem and got the color I wanted. Don double checked some details with me and kept me apprised of the progress. A week after mostly completing the job they were back to finish up the details, some of which I would have never noticed. (Weather was a factor in not being able to come to the house.) Several of our neighbors have stopped by, asked our painters name and complemented the bold change we made to the house.
