Customers say: True professional

"Darrell was extremely polite and gathered all the requirements on the problem with my In-slab HVAC and water problem.  He was able to provide me with several options (some DIY and some professional) and give me a rough estimate of cost savings doing it each particular way.  He allowed me to bounce several options and questions off of him and we tried to work out the possibility of Raise-rite doing some of the work, but realistically for the job I needed it would have been far too complicated and costly to have them to help.  Darrell was very honest and more knoweledgeable about my HVAC issue than about 12 other various plumbers/HVAC/flood specialist I've spoken too and I now feel very confident about what approach to take going forward.
I hope that in the future I will have a situation that can make use of Raise-rites professional services because I would definitely like to pay it forward.  Thank you very much!

"Our project was to lift and balance a garage floor and long driveway using foam. Marc, Ben and Andrew showed up on time, did a thorough job, explaining the process every inch of the way. They did what was contracted for plus a bit. The cleanup was everything I could have asked for. We were told exactly what possible problems to watch for and what to do about them. A very good experience and a good warranty."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

A concrete leveling project in Sioux Falls can often be done in one visit if the settling is minor (under two inches) and weather is favorable. However, multiple sessions may be needed for extensive settling or unstable soil. Work during South Dakota's winter months or spring, when soil is saturated from snowmelt, frequently requires more than one appointment to ensure a stable, lasting repair for your concrete surfaces.

Helpful?

Your Sioux Falls home is a good candidate for a concrete leveling project if the slab is structurally sound with no major cracks and has settled six inches or less. Homes with basement foundations and clay soils, both common in the area, respond very well to this repair method. Concrete that is severely deteriorated or has ongoing drainage issues underneath it is a poor candidate and may require replacement.

Helpful?

After your concrete leveling project in Sioux Falls is complete, keep all key documents. This includes the detailed work order with before-and-after measurements, warranty information, and the final invoice. You should also save any permits required by the City of Sioux Falls and the recommended maintenance schedule for the SD climate. These records are essential for warranty claims, insurance purposes, and future property sales.

Helpful?

When performing concrete leveling in Sioux Falls, professionals prioritize safety hazards like trip hazards near entryways first. Next, they address structural concerns, such as slabs affecting your foundation. Water management issues that direct water toward the home are also a high priority, especially with local freeze-thaw cycles. Aesthetic improvements are handled after these critical issues are resolved to ensure your home is safe and stable.

Helpful?

In Sioux Falls, a concrete leveling project offers immediate safety by removing trip hazards and improves curb appeal. It also prevents water pooling, which is critical during spring snowmelt. Long-term benefits include protecting your foundation from damage caused by freeze-thaw cycles and preserving your property value in the city’s growing real estate market. This work also enhances your home's climate resilience and reduces future maintenance needs.
