"Pretty straightforward transaction to locate the company, set an appointment and have the work completed - all done via the internet and a couple of phone calls. It's the world we live in these days. Face-to-face meetings in a store or shop are great, but those days are fading. Suggestion: Create some manner of a leave-behind information paper that your technician could have left with us that would provide additional info about the maintenance and operation of our gas log fireplace."

"We added living space above our garage with a bathroom and kitchenette. We ended up replacing our old electric water heater with a gas tankless. Very happy with the plumbing job done by Plumb Pro.."

As a local member of the community, I have been in the construction industry for just over 10 years. With experience ranging from general construction needs, to light electrical, and plumbing I have the knowledge it takes to complete a job on time and with excellent quality. \n\nWhy pay more for a large contractor to provide you a simple service when you can save money and have some peace of mind knowing a local member of the community is taking care of your needs and providing exactly what you need.

"The pro videoed my pipes for relining purposes. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. Royal plumbing seems to have very professional people working for them. He was straight forward and told me exactly what needed to be down. He gave me a rough estimate of the cost, but told me he would have a written quote for me by the end of the day."

"Very courteous and professional! I had a simple gas line extension from the gas line in my home to the stove (about 15 feet). Mid-way through the job, however, the workers had to go back to the shop to get fittings and were gone for 30 - 40 min. The fittings were common fittings and I think I was charged during their absence."

"Micah is an excellent on task contractor, always on time and productive. He's very quick at resolving any possible material or project changes. We've found Micah to be very reliable, trustworthy and honest to work with. He's been a real pleasure in a time when you're lucky to even get a phone call back from a contractor. Would most certainly hire him again!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

Yes, most states require a plumber to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations. Check our state licensing tool to review the local plumber guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification, which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.
