Joe Winn was the first to call, showed up 90 minutes later same day (and on time!) and after looking at the job, advised me that he could fix the door without the time and expense of replacing the entire frame. 40 minutes later, the job was done...and he even checked and adjusted her storm door as well! My mother is thrilled with how the door works, how smooth it opens and closes, and she can use her electronic locks once again. She said Joe was attentive, listened to her description of the issue, assessed the job to be done, and did it fast. He was polite, knowledgeable, quick, and did a great job. I am very particular about work done on our house, so I arranged to have a 1-hour consulation meeting with Michael (the tech doing the work) to discuss what he planned to do, the materials he would use, and methods he would employ for the project. I met with Michael and was very impressed with his experince and knowledge. On project day, he came out to our house at the scheduled time, removed the old trim, and installed the new trim in a VERY timely manner. The new trim looks wonderful, and I am totally satisfied with the result. Michael was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Also, the customer support personnel I interacted with at Mr. Handyman were very pleasant and professional. The total cost of the job was quite reasonable too. I am certain that their windows are great quality, but the windows I ordered are the same style, double windows.....I can't see any difference in what I got compared to what they offered. Just the price was way off. Get at least a few quotes and at least one from a local contractor! These guys are really expensive."
