"I had a review on 10/19/2015 where I rated Bradley Construction a "C" on a job replacing a beam under the house among other things. I called Mr. Bradley a few months ago about some issues with the wood floor around the new beam area. Mr. Bradley came out and agreed that there was a slight issue with the beam having a crown pushing up on the wood floor a bit. He connected us to one of his experts, Isaac. Isaac was as professional and friendly as they come. He assessed the situation, kept us updated the entire time, and took his time to do the job correctly. He ended up trying a couple of methods over the course of three visits to fix our wood floor because he wasn't satisfied until it was perfect. Scheduling the visits with Isaac was easy and he was right on time each visit. I am extremely happy with how the floor looks now. I would highly recommend anyone using Bradley Construction to ask for Isaac."

Garages questions, answered by experts

It is possible for a car to interfere with a garage door opener, but the interference will most likely be caused by any onboard electronics in this scenario. If you encounter this problem, try parking a safe distance away from the garage door and turn off the car’s electronic equipment.

Installing weather stripping or upgrading to insulated panels can improve efficiency.

Yes, a single garage door with an 8-foot width is considered standard. This will be the size needed if you are upgrading a garage door in nearly any standard-sized residential garage. If you are building a garage from scratch that you intend to use for parking a large truck, SUV, or RV, you can consider extending the width to 10 feet to make parking easier.

Yes, garage cabinets are worth it to organize the tools, supplies, equipment, and gear you’ve been storing in the garage. Garage cabinets provide a great way to declutter your space while also preserving your valuables—keeping them free from dust, debris, and various weather elements. Not to mention, garage cabinets also elevate the look of your garage, which can prove beneficial when you’re looking to sell your home.

While the benefits of garage door screens usually outweigh the downsides, there are some cons to installing one. First off, they can be quite expensive, especially if you’re having a professional install a retracting screen or a custom size screen. Second, they let fresh air and natural light in, but they also don’t provide the same privacy from people in the neighborhood that a solid door does. As you might guess, screens also won’t insulate your garage, so they’re often not usable in colder weather.
