"Working with Rex was a pleasure. The response time was very fast. He told me about the options and the best value for me (not necessarily the highest price option). I appreciated when Rex told me honestly about work that didn't need to be done (instead of trying to sell me services I didn't need). I know I have a long term "pool guy" now!"

"The pool opening was done in a timely manner and very professional. Great price and friendly service. They opened my pool as well as replaced my liner in a timely manner. The weekly cleanings are Thorough and smooth. My pool has never looked better and I have also recommended them to multiple friends and family members who also get there pool cleaned weekly as well. I would never trust my pool in anyone else’s hands."

"We hired Integrity Pool Pro to replace the steps and liner in our 28000-gallon Foxx in-ground pool. We asked them to let us know when they would start because we have a puppy that we needed to make sure was in her crate while they were here. We were not home, and our security cameras went off. I looked at the footage, and they were climbing over our locked fence to get into our backyard. We contacted them and reminded them to keep us informed of their planned work days. Without notice, they showed up in our driveway. My wife went home, put our puppy up, and unlocked the gate for them. They continued to just show up whenever throughout the internship. I have video of one of the workers urinating on the foundation of the house. The steps were not installed squarely and in line with the adjoining walls of the pool. Adam said that is just what you get when trying to replace old stairs. This was never mentioned or brought to our attention until I brought it up to them one evening when I noticed it while they were still installing them. Adam did put some screws in the flanges to help straighten them, but the quality is subpar. The trim beside the stairs extends about 2 inches above the liner, with a gap of about 3/4 inches. There is a wrinkle in the liner beside the steps; the face of the steps is scratched and chipped where it looks like it was dragged across the concrete; and there are at least three places in the bottom of the shallow end of the pool where it feels like a sharp rock could puncture the liner. The concrete that was replaced had high edges. We brought this to Adams attention, and he came out and ground them down, so now there are three places where the concrete is smooth and slick next to the steps."

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

Regular water testing, filter cleaning, and chemical balancing are essential for keeping water clean and equipment functional.

Generally, it is more cost-effective and energy-efficient to leave your hot tub on all the time rather than turning it on and off. Reheating a hot tub from a cold temperature consumes a significant amount of energy, so maintaining a constant temperature is usually more economical, especially with frequent use.

For daily or weekly use, it's recommended to keep the water at a constant, reduced temperature, such as between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and then increase it to your desired temperature before getting in. If you know you won't be using the hot tub for an extended period, you can lower the temperature to save on energy costs. However, if you use it very infrequently, you can turn it off completely, as long as there is no risk of the water freezing.

How often you change the water in your swim spa depends on how often you use it. Most manufacturers recommend changing the water every three to six months. If you use your swim spa throughout the seasons, it’s a good idea to set up a quarterly deep cleaning schedule. The ideal instructions should be in the owner’s manual.

If you want to have a chemical-free spa, or if you are wondering how to keep your hot tub clean naturally, there are several options. Some individuals choose to run their hot tub without treatment at all and simply clean it more often (although you risk bacteria, fungi, and algae growth if you take this route); others use natural products like vinegar or Borax. Ozone, ultraviolet light, and electrolysis systems are also eco-friendly ways to have a clean hot tub without chemicals. Saltwater hot tubs are popular with people who are sensitive to chlorine, bromine, and other traditional hot tub chemicals.

Using bubble bath, bath oils, bath salts, or moisturizing products that contain butters or oils can damage your jetted tub. Because of the water pump and jet mechanism, you need to be more selective with products for a jetted tub than you would for a traditional bathtub in order to keep it functioning properly and avoid expensive repairs. These products also leave residue that can feed mildew and mold, so it’s best to avoid them.
