"Fair prices, good customer service, work was very professional. I would definitely recommend. They removed shrubs and a large sapling, weeded and mulched all of my flower beds. If I ever need anything else done I will definitely call them again."

"Did a great job and got to the yard very quickly. It was pricier than other services I've used in the past but he was detailed and cleaned things up really well. I live out of town so also appreciated that I could pay with a credit card, but would have felt better about it if I could have paid through a secure online portal instead of texting the CC info."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

Pulling weeds once per month is typically often enough to keep most weeds at bay. But in general, it's best to pull weeds as soon as you spot them to prevent deep root growth and slow their spread. To make it easier, plan your weed pulling after rain or after the sprinklers run so the soil will be nice and wet and the weeds will be easier to pull. If you notice moss accompanying weeds, make a plan to remove the moss immediately to prevent damage.

Yes, Johnsongrass is a hard weed to kill. It has the ability to grow fast and spread even quicker, so it requires a detailed plan and thorough application to eliminate it. The best plan of action is to kill Johnsongrass while the weed is establishing itself by hiring a lawn care professional or following the steps above.

Due to its slow growth, Bahia grass does not generally take over weeds. In fact, the opposite can be true. Young Bahia grass is susceptible to being taken over by weeds.

Likewise, in the cool season, Bahia grass goes into a dormant state that can allow weeds that thrive in early spring to get the upper hand. If you want to prevent weeds from taking over your yard, remove them by hand or apply a Bahia grass-friendly pre-emergent herbicide to your lawn before weeds have a chance to appear.

Choosing fertilizers: slow-release for steady nutrients, organic for eco-friendliness, or specific blends for soil deficiencies or grass types.

The best way to keep voles from tunneling in your yard is to keep grass trimmed and bushes cut back from the ground at least 5 inches. Cleaning up yard debris, wood chip piles, and brush piles can also help keep voles at bay. If you notice vole activity, you can also remove bird feeders since these are a ready source of food for the tunneling rodents.
