"Matias and his crew were excellent! They blew some insulation in my attic for me, and I am thrilled with the result. They ran into a problem accessing part of my attic, but thanks to their creative problem-solving, they were able to fix it and get insulation throughout the whole attic. They went above and beyond, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs insulation work."
"4 days ago NEW Thank you so much for fixing and adding new insulation to our home. Rafal and eddie did a wonderful job insulating up our attic and fixing the insulation and adding new stuff in the garage and crawl space. If I ever needed to have a insulation job done I know who to call."
"Steve and crew did an excellent job. Very happy with the work. Will get the actual results when the attic gets hot again. After having hot weather the insulation has done wonders with our upstairs. Thanks"
"Dillon and his crew did an excellent job. They showed up on time and didn't take any breaks until the job was done. Our rooms upstairs are at least 10 degrees cooler because of them blowing in the insulation. I highly recommend them for any service they do, you will not find a better company to work with you, plus they got us a rebate with the power company so you can't beat that. Thanks so much"
"The crew was very prompt and thoughtful due to the fact that we have a third shift worker. James made sure they were here to blow in attic insulation first then got into the crawl space as quick as possible. Thanks again James for a good job."

"These guys were great. Allen met me at the door with a firm handshake told me what they were about to do and if I had any questions just ask. Leo was just as professional during insulation and got the job done in 3 hours. Dylan kept me up to speed during both projects and was very helpful. Easy reccomendation."
"Price was about average, can't complain - don't remember exactly how much or exact service date (disclaimer). Company screwed up the scheduling. Installer was busy with personal life and we had to work around their schedule. Inconvenient. Came out and sprayed insulation in the garage. They left the door open to the basement so the entire chemical smell inundated the basement. The spray was general even but there seemed to be small holes and spaces generally through out the insulation. When I inquired about the small spaces the response was they generally use the small spray cans you can get at Home Depot\Lowes but that they didn't have any. I said I would take care of it myself, I had enough inconvenience with the screw up in scheduling. Other than that went well - it's not that involved, just spray foam. They did clean up the mess relatively well, but not perfect."
"Value for the money invested was extremely high, would strongly encourage those needed spray foam insulation in their homes or businesses to contact Advanced Spray foam for a price. Great people to deal with !"
"A few months ago my rental house had a flood due to a clogged drain outside the lower floor door resulting in an inch or two of water into the living space and carpeted areas including a couple bedrooms of the tenants. Even though we had steam cleaned and set up dehumidifiers I wanted to be sure there were no unseen issues so I contacted Moisture Solutions. They came out the next day and tested and sure enough, even though there were no visible signs of mold or damage, the spore count was well above the acceptable levels. They explained the results and the different options and incremental steps that might need to be taken. After a good cleaning of all the rooms they came out again and fogged the house and had HEPA filter fans running for several days. When they re-tested we got the lab results back showing an 89% reduction in total spore counts, now well below acceptable limits. And so we did not end up having to rip up the carpet or LVT flooring or take other drastic measures. Both tenants in the affected area have told me they feel better and can tell a definite difference in the air quality. I would definitely recommend Moisture Solutions to come out and test if you ever have a situation like this, even if you can't see any damage - they have the expertise and the ability to take care of even unseen problems for you!"
New homeowners in Seneca should prioritize attic insulation upgrades and thorough air sealing around plumbing penetrations and electrical outlets. Addressing crawl space encapsulation early helps manage the region’s humidity. Adding insulation to rim joists and ensuring ductwork insulation is intact will further boost comfort and efficiency. Weatherstripping exterior doors and windows is also a smart first-year project to prevent drafts and energy loss.
Helpful?
In Seneca, insulation maintenance involves inspecting attics and crawl spaces each spring and fall for signs of moisture, pests, or insulation settling. Check vapor barriers for tears and ensure attic ventilation remains unobstructed. Examine ductwork insulation for gaps or damage, especially after severe weather. Scheduling a professional assessment every decade helps maintain energy efficiency and addresses issues before they affect comfort or indoor air quality.
Helpful?
In Seneca, homeowners often overlook sealing recessed lighting and attic hatches, leading to persistent air leaks even after insulation is added. Skipping crawl space encapsulation or failing to insulate rim joists can also compromise energy efficiency. Using insulation that isn’t rated for high humidity or compressing materials during installation are frequent errors that can cause moisture buildup, mold growth, and reduced long-term performance.
Helpful?
For Seneca’s humid climate, blown-in cellulose is ideal for attics due to its moisture resistance and coverage. Closed-cell spray foam or rigid foam boards work well in crawl spaces and basements, providing both insulation and a vapor barrier. Mineral wool is a strong choice for fire resistance in walls. Always select materials rated for high humidity and pest resistance to ensure durability and long-term performance.
Helpful?
For a safer, family-friendly insulation project in Seneca, opt for non-irritating materials like cellulose or mineral wool, which minimize airborne fibers. Schedule work when children and pets are away, and use plastic sheeting to seal off work zones. Choose insulation with pest-resistant properties to help prevent infestations. After installation, ventilate the area thoroughly before allowing family members or pets to re-enter the space.
