It made me very cautious because I've had several bad experiences with this type of set up and appointments that don't happen or get mixed up.

We have pets and get a lot of lint and hair in the vents, which means we need to clean them annually or semi-annually, especially since we have a vent pipe that exits through the roof and not straight out through the wall.
