He explained that the price given was a firm quote. A few days later, the other owner stopped by to take measurements and to set up a date for installation. The installation occurred over the course of two full days. The installers were careful to cordon off the areas being worked on to minimize dust. They did nice work and cleaned up after themselves

There was arched cabinetry that needed to be fabricated over my sink and cook top which was beautifully done. The installers Carlos and Patrick were professional, know their craft and extremely concerned of keeping our home clean during the process. They were always concerned that we were happy with what they were doing asking us during the process if it was okay with what they were doing. They work hard and stay late to get the job done. They were about as perfect as you can get when having someone coming into your home and doing work. I am so happy with my new kitchen. I have had refacing done in a former home and did not compare. This is wood and not veneer base to the cabinets so it is the old saying you get what you pay for. Thank you guys for a beautiful kitchen
- American Wood RefaceThe were several steps to the process but it was very easy to deal with and they completed the work with very little disruption to my life. The countertops were replaced first which required a visit for them to measure everything which took about an hour and then they installed the countertops 1 to 2 weeks later. American Woodreface contracted this out with a countertop installer but they hired a plumber to come in afterwards and install and hookup all the plumbing to the sink and garbage disposal. That couldn't be done until the next day as the glue from the installers had to set overnight. So, I was without a kitchen sink for one day. The cabinets were measured by a person from cabinet reface and it took about a month for those to be ready. But they came out with everything and did the complete kitchen in one day. They usually schedule for two days, but my kitchen was fairly small so they stayed until 7pm and finished it up in just one day. They put up plastic to keep dust out of the house and cleaned everything up before they left so you couldn't tell they were there other than the much improved appearance of the kitchen. Just having it done so quickly with so little disruption and down time was worth the cost. The cabinets look much more high end than what was there before and they replaced one lower cabinet with pot drawers which I love! I provided the new faucet, garbage disposal and knobs. They installed those and provided everything else to create a vastly improved kitchen

Price was a bit better than two previous quotes and we were comfortable from initial meeting that they knew what they were doing. They are obviously busy as it took several weeks to get on their schedule, but worth the wait. The installation guys were excellent - very polite, professional and extremely hard working. They wasted no time, but took time to make sure everything was to our liking. The actually did several "extras" for us with no extra charges. The process is loud at times, but they kept everything clean and dust free. The end result was even better than my wife or I expected. We are pleased to extend a very high recommendation for these folks
