"I have finally found my electrician!
I got Easy Electrical Solutions? name from Angie?s List and was impressed with their reviews.  When I called Dennis to set up an inspection, he asked questions and described what he needed to do and about how long it would take.  He and his 2 man crew (Joshua and Jim, if I remember correctly) called to see if they could come a little earlier on the day of the appointment, which worked out well for me.  I showed them around the house and they began to work right away.  I had thought I needed a new floodlight because the unit was very loose, but after looking at it, Dennis said it only needed to be stabilized.  That saved me $50 right off.  Dennis explained why my light dimmed when I vacuumed, which had been a concern of mine.  They checked our wiring and electrical panel, and replaced a breaker.  Dennis fixed the dangling thermostat on my new attic fan, which should have been done by the company which installed it two months ago.  He also checked the attic for any animal droppings and gnawed wires, as I've had squirrels chew into my attic twice.  They checked all the wiring under the house and installed junction boxes on the open splices to bring them up to code.  I also learned I had a sub-panel at my a/c compressors - something of which I was unaware.
I found Dennis and his crew to be very professional, knowledgeable, and personable.  I felt very comfortable with them in my house and appreciated them taking time to explain to me what they were doing and why.  They were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves.  It was so nice to see people taking pride in their work.  I will definitely hire them again when the need arises.

"It was great working with Josh on our remodel. He accomplished what we asked, was extremely diligent in completing the work and demonstrated his skills resulting in a beautiful bathroom. I had high expectations and Josh met them all."

"Tim did an amazing job! I went through a lot of electrician companies on Angieslist and saw that he was willing to drive from Beaufort SC to Columbia SC and he seemed very knowledgeable. That in itself plus the prior good reviews stood out to me that he wanted the work. So I took a plunge and got one of his Angieslist deals. On the phone I could tell Tim was very very thorough. He’s a smart guy. As a business person myself, having dealt with other electricians and contractors - I could tell he knew his stuff but was very courteous as well so I actually felt good before he came. You don’t run into many people who have this kind of hard work ethic. When he came, he came exactly on the time he promised. He was very nice and was willing to explain to me how things worked and he has a lot of patience, even when it was extremely hot outside. He really knows his stuff very well and is able to troubleshoot difficult issues. He ended up doing a long list of things for me (which frankly many others didn't want to do) with no complaints and a happy hardworking attitude which include the following: - Troubleshoot and fix backyard outdoor outlet that didn’t work. (he quickly pinpointed the issue within minutes, literally). - Change 2 prong outlet in garage to GFCI 3 prong. - New GFCI outlet outdoor front of house (drilled thru brick). - Replace old outdoor floodlight fixture that was painted shut. - Replace two pendant light fixtures in bathroom and installed a box to make sure it was up to code. - Troubleshooted some 3 way light switch issues in the kitchen and dining room. The work was done with quality and very little damage to the walls. Plus honestly I was surprised by what he did next. He took all the boxes and trash that I had laying around - some of which he had nothing to do with and gladly put it in his truck. I was shocked because I had never seen anyone do that before - talk about great customer service! It took approximately 4 hours, and honestly he would've been done probably in 3, if I hadn't talked his ear off. So he was very patient with me :) . Anyways, Don't be deceived with the fact that he is a one man business; I would hire him in a heart beat again and highly recommend you give him a chance as well. At the end of the day, the price was great and the wife is happy."

"They treated my house like it was their own. They replaced rotten window surrounds and some corner trim. The work looks better than the original. I’m tickled with the outcome. A pleasure to have on property."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

To achieve the optimal lighting output from your under-cabinet lights, position the LED tape towards the front of the cabinet with the LEDs facing downward. For effective illumination of the work surface and backsplash, place the tape light approximately one to two inches behind the cabinet's front edge. This mounting configuration is especially suitable for dull or matte surfaces.

When determining how far apart your can lights should be, the rule of thumb is to divide the height of the ceiling by two. The resulting number is how far apart your lights should be. For example, if your ceiling is 10 feet high, your lights should have five feet between them.

Yes, recessed lights can be installed in a bathroom and are a popular choice for several reasons. Recessed lights have a compact, flush-to-ceiling design, which makes them ideal for providing ample light and modern style in bathrooms without taking up too much space.

Also, because recessed lighting sits in a housing inside the ceiling, it makes it a safe, watertight lighting option for your shower. Just make sure they’re wet- or damp-rated before you install them in your bathroom.

Motion-sensor lights use one watt while on standby and five watts while turned on. They’re usually on for one hour over a 24-hour period, bringing the total wattage to about 28 watts per day. LED lights use around 6.5 to 8 watts while on. If you leave an LED light on all night, with night ranging from 10 to 14 hours, you’re looking at using 65 to 112 watts a night. You can minimally cut your wattage in half by switching to a motion-sensor light.

Yes, it is possible to hang a chandelier without wiring, but it depends on the design of both the chandelier and your ceiling. Many homeowners use plug-in pendant lights, adhesive hook and cord pendants, or nonelectrical light sources to hang a chandelier without wiring.
