"EXCELLENT craftsmanship. Super high quality work. Very communicative - never ghosted us or left us in the dark. Five stars on all of that!! The only reason I don't give 5 stars overall is the timeline. We were originally quoted 8-10 weeks for our screened porch and it took a lot longer. There were things out of his control that contributed to that, so we understood. And again, he kept us in the loop. He also built us a new shed during that time and that slowed down the progress of the porch as well. We loved Calvin and would be happy to have him do more work for us."

"They came to fix and change the chandelier fixture in my outdoor entry way.  The chandelier was moved and put in the wrong place, and hung to one side.  The chandelier was even noticeably off center looking into my house from the outside.  They came back when I asked and moved the chandelier but left a whole in my garage.  I had to call another company in order to fix the problem.  I had to use another company and they fixed the problem very easily.  This is the only time I have used someone from Angie’s list and it didn’t work out."

"Project went off without a hitch.  Doug the owner was quick and responsive from the time I contacted him for an estimate until the time the project was completed.  I was impressed with the professionalism, quality of work and knowledge Doug and his crew showed to make sure the job was done right.  They kept their work area clean while on site and paid great detail to match the motoar since we have a older home from the early 1900s.They were very friendly and outgoing. "Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."
