"Ken was very professional. He explained my drainage problem and offered a couple of solutions to solve the problem. He worked extremely hard under difficult circumstances to resolve the problem and offered several tips to avoid future problems. He is trustworthy, dependable, and offers quality work at a fair price. I will definitely recommend him for any plumbing issues."

"Called them late in the afternoon the day before the service was rendered, the first question was is it an emergency? The service I needed was not an emergency, however, the appointment was made for the morning of the next day. He arrived on time, was very professional, and putted on shoe covering before entering into my home . The plumbing was done quickly and he cleaned up all debris from the job site. I highly recommend them."

"The categories and projects here are not lining up with what I had done. Dale cleaned my Dryer vent. He did an excellent job. I wanted to ensure that I would not be the cause of a fire in my Condominium building. Dale checked the day before service and showed up on-time the morning of the service. He was very respectful and considerate. He told me what he would be doing. He also answered any questions I had. I would recommend Dale as he showed me what he did, he cleaned behind himself and was just so polite. I will use Dale again in the future."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

Homeowners insurance usually doesn’t cover sewer backups because it’s typically an avoidable problem with proper maintenance. The only exception would be if the backup is occurring because of local flooding and only if your city uses a combined drainage system for stormwater and sewage. If that’s the case, your policy should cover any resulting damage.

Yes, hiring a drain cleaner is worth it, especially when compared to the cost of not being able to use a sink, shower, toilet, or bathtub and the potential damage that flooding can cause in your home. You might try a temporary drain cleaning liquid or snaking it yourself, but if the clog is out of reach or these methods do not work, then hiring a professional drain cleaner is the way to go.

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

Avoid flushing non-degradable items, schedule regular inspections, and address minor clogs promptly.
