"Let me just say I was very fortunate to meet this individual. He was behind me in line at the local hardware store as I was in line complaining to the cashier, a friend of mine, about the lack of availability of a person willing to do the next phase of my basement remodel. Drywall/mudding/taping/sanding, I had a guy stand me up and was unable to even find any other party intersted in the job. The basement is pretty large, there s got to be at least 100 sheets of drywall on the walls and ceiling. Long story short Matt the HandyMatt overheard my scenario and offered his services within a couple days as he was just finishing a job up. I was thorughly pleased, not just with the quality of service, but the rate i was charged I thought was incredibly fair after chatting with some other contractors who provide the same services, also he overheard me say I had zero parties even willing to work on the job. I ve always been generally overcharged in that situation. He finished pretty much on schedule even though he was stood up by his laborer after the first day. The job was well done even though there was at the time next to no light in the basement, as the electrician didn t come through til after painting was done.
