"Our house was built in 1948 and a large addition was added in 1962. Following a garden wedding at our home the bathrooms at the rear of the house would not drain properly. Andrew of Hill Plumbing arrived and attempted to find the clean out. There was none. He attempted to snake out the drains but there were obstructions. He brought in a video camera on the end of a snake and found the problems. He installed a new clean out and provided some options to permanently repair the problems caused by the 1962 addition and age of the plumbing. Andrew worked harder and knew the answers to every issue better than any plumber I've ever encountered. It may have been more expensive than some others, but you get what you pay for and I was very satisfied with the work and experience. By the way, I called three other plumbers before Hill and either got put off for a week or was never answered.

Chris Thompson went beyond his call of duty. My tenant had no heat during a cold spell and the part wouldn?t be in until the next day. They have installed a new heat pump , HWH, in the past plus repairs and being a member gives you tremendous value. "Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"I had several companies that do irrigation systems come out to do an estimate.  The 2 companies both had estimated  in the fourteen hundred and sixteen hundred range.  This was for 1,100 feet. I found Rainbow Irrigation through Angie's list.  Mr. Clubb came right over to measure and estimate.  At that time I was putting in new grass in the back yard and needed a sprinkler system.  He was professional and gave me a good price.  Compared to the other estimates his price was more reasonable.   I had to wait for HOA approval before I could give him a final date.  With the person in charge of this process out for a family emergency it took longer than usual for the approval.  When I finally got the approval I called Mr. Clubb up and his team was there within the day.   I also learned from a neighbor that Mr. Clubb has been in business for many years and has a great reputation.  Mr. Clubb told me that he will get calls from out of state to install an irrigation system in Myrtle Beach.   I am please with the service and product and would recommend Mr. Clubg and Rainbow irrigation highly.

"Our technician, Dameyan Jackson, called the night before the day of service to let me know the time that he would be here to service our system. On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."

"They didn't end up doing the work. They were really high on what they wanted to do. Other people who looked at the porch said that it was not causing an issue with any water intrusion and that there doesn't seem to be any signs on the posts that this could have been recent, it could have been long ago. So no work was done. It was a front porch that had just the level concrete on one side was dipping just a little bit. I think they were going to pump it up from underneath or something like that to level it out. I would say that their response time and their professionalism of getting the quote to us on a timely manner was good. The quote was high and yet the work was not necessary according to other quotes. They should be honest to say when repairs are necessary and when they are not. The guy who showed up was nice and professional and was on time. There was a decent response time."

"They have been out for the electrical. They have been out for the pool. They have been out for the sump pump. Its the fee for the service call. We have used them for the last 3 years. If you have an appliance that you think needs replaced they will not replace it they will repair it to death. They are very responsive. Some of the people they send out are great, some are okay."
