Odinson Electric – Real Electricians, Real Work, Real Fair Prices At Odinson Electric, we’re not just another electrical company—we’re a local, family-run business that actually cares about the work we do and the people we do it for. My name is TJ Maddock, and my wife Blake and I started this company because we saw how big corporate electrical companies treated homeowners—like dollar signs instead of people. That never sat right with us. We believe everyone deserves safe, reliable, and properly installed electrical work at a fair price. No markups, no gimmicks, no rushed jobs—just honest work done right the first time. We don’t cut corners, we don’t upsell unnecessary services, and we’ll take the time to answer any questions you have, so you feel confident about the work being done in your home. What We Offer: Free Estimates & Upfront Pricing – No surprises, no “starting at” nonsense. You’ll know the price before we do anything. Licensed, Insured, & Bonded – SC License #RBE2975. No handymen, no guessing—just real, trained electricians. A True Local Business – Based in Simpsonville, serving the entire Upstate. No corporate headquarters, just neighbors helping neighbors. Workmanship That Lasts – We take pride in every job, and we back our work with a 3-Year Warranty on installations. Emergency Services, 24/7 – Power issues don’t wait for business hours, and neither do we. We’re here for big projects, small repairs, and everything in between. Whether you need a ceiling fan installed, your panel replaced, or just want to know if that weird outlet buzzing is a problem—we’ll give you an honest answer and a fair price. 💰 We also offer a 10% discount for: ✔ Military (Active, Inactive, & Spouses) ✔ First Responders (Police, Firefighters, EMS) ✔ Healthcare Workers & Teachers ✔ Single or Widowed Parents ✔ Seniors (60+) If you need an electrician who will treat your home like their own, give us a call or send a message. 864 - 705 - 8494

"They were so helpful and honest! They were able to work within my schedule and timeline. TJ and Blake were super responsive and knowledgeable. I feel like I know so much more about my home. I will definitely be a repeat customer."

Hello, I'm Greg Avila owner of Avila Electric, a family-owned small business here in the upstate. I've been a journeyman electrician for 10-15 years and on the management side of electrical and general construction for another 10 years. I've worked in a variety of settings from residential homes to apartments complexes to state prisons. Everday is different in my line of work, sometimes I'm chasing my tail trying to find a lose neutral, while other days I'm installing an electrical panel for a tiny home. My family and I moved to Piedmont about two years ago and have been enjoying getting to know the upstate's beautiful natural resources and charming cities. I look forward to meeting you and working with you on your next electrical project.

C&M Septic and Plumbing is a family owned company that is here to help with reasonable pricing. We cover all Septic and Plumbing needs. We are quick, efficient, and great at what we do. We offer great pricing and even financing for those really unexpected costs.

"I made an appt with them for Wednesday from noon to 2. They no showed and didn’t bother to call. I called back Friday and they agreed to come out right then. However, the truck didn’t have enough to pump my entire septic and they said they would come out first thing Monday. They no showed again on Monday. Four days later they tried to contact me to reschedule. I refused at that point. I can’t be kept waiting for 2 weeks for whenever they feel it is convenient for them…if you make an appt, keep it!"

"Reading all these reviews makes me laugh. Kent came to my home to pump my septic tank. He spent the first 30 minutes whining about the location of the tank, you know, like a little baby girl. He then proceeded to open my clogged toilet, turned to my wife (who has Crohn's disease), and exclaimed "EWW", you know, like a little baby girl. On his way out, he decided to get one last jab in on my wife who was feeling humiliated, embarrassed, scared, and frustrated, "Y'all need to quit eating all that Taco Bell." Now, I don't want to be too ho*** ** Kent; he's just a poor little baby girl who was forced into being a plumber and having to look at poopy. I truly feel bad for Kent, and I hope Mr. Rooters will allow Kent to find a new job that is more fitting for a little baby girl like Kent. He's a princess and deserves to be treated as such! Upon calling and speaking to a manager, I was informed that they would look into it and perhaps do some "retraining." I assume this retraining must consist of "Everybody Poops 101" and "How Not to Attack People with Chronic Illnesses for Beginners." However, I have the feeling that Kent "Little baby girl afraid of poopy" Clemons will not learn much, and it doesn't change the fact that I paid $1800 to have my wife heckled by a little baby girl disguised as a full-grown a** man. Find another plumber or request that they send out an adult and not a child, like Kent Clemons."

"On 6/1/2022 a technician shows up for a water leak under my home, the tech was friendly, on time, and professional, in appearance. I point out where the leak is, after 30 minutes he says the main pipe is probably plugged which created additional weight, possibly stretching supports and as a result the shower drain pipe had been disconnected. He said he would write up a quote, and I was shocked to find it was for 10k. I refused service but asked for a detailed write up for what needed because I was paying an $89.00 Regular Service Fee (29-89) and another fee, MISC level 1 1 which was $97.00 for god knows what. Here is the write up I received from the technician.(More commentary below) "END TASKS*/ upon arrival customer had leak in crawl space and shower has disconnected the reason this disconnected is due to the weight of the sewer line this line is full of water and when wisher is ran it backs up out of this line causing a leak this line has fallen in ,multiple spots and is sagging in multiple spots this is abs piping. I gave options to repipe both bathrooms and then after run camera to locate septic tank. The reason customer is not backing up into house is because everything comes out this shower drain. I gave customer the options for repipe he did not want to continue with any work there is not a cleanout outside for me to camera this line and cannot locate where line exits home for ability to locate septic tank. Simple math tells me I could pay a guy 100$ an hour for 97 hours, or 2 full weeks and then some at that rate. I thought to myself, ok, he does not want to do the work so he priced himself out. I am ok with that, but the business owner should be made aware of what is going on and cut these guys loose because there are plenty of other options out there. I am also shocked at the lack of detail for pricing, for 10k I need know specifically what is being done, on a line by line basis. After all, I paid almost 200 dollars and I would like to think I am owed that much. One last detail, I did call in and spoke to "Angel" who said she would relay my concerns and that someone would be calling me back. I am not holding my breath."

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
