Customers say: Super punctual

"Kevin and his team couldn’t have made the job any easier for me. The entire process from initial call/quote to completion was within two weeks, and that included a March Nor’Easter. He removed the old failing concrete floor, added a base, poured and sloped the new floor. The entire team even hauled the cement up a hilly driveway in wheelbarrows so the concrete truck wouldn't have to drive across it. The quality of work and respect for the job area was exceptional. Communication (both calls/text) as well as explanations of the procedure/timeline, and materials used) couldn’t have been any better. I already plan to use his services for future projects."

"Bob did a tremendous job refinishing our kitchen windsor chairs. He brought them back to brand new and did a great job matching the stain to the table they go with. We are so pleased. The cost was very reasonable and he had the job done within two weeks, which is amazing. We highly recommend him."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

The best way to resurface a concrete porch is to clean and prep the surface, pour a layer of concrete on top, allow it to cure, then seal it. A concrete overlay provides a durable layer and enhances your porch's look. You can even choose a stamped overlay to make it look like stone or brick. To ensure structural integrity, repair concrete cracks before applying the new concrete. If the existing concrete is in significant disrepair, consider removing and replacing the concrete instead of an overlay.

You can whiten concrete for unsealed and unfinished concrete with a solution or either muriatic acid or bleach and water—but never both. However, if your concrete does have a stain, finish, or polish, keep in mind that these hard chemicals could damage the topcoat. Your best bet otherwise is to power wash outdoor concrete slabs or clean indoor ones with a gentle cleaner such as laundry or dish detergent.

Yes, you can seal old or existing concrete, but proper preparation is crucial. The concrete surface must be clean, dry, and free of any incompatible old sealant. To check if an old sealer is present, drip a few drops of water onto the surface; if the water is absorbed in under five minutes, it's ready to be resealed. If you plan to use the same type of sealer that was previously applied, you may not need to remove the old layer. However, if you are using a different type of sealer, the old one must be completely removed. Before applying the new sealer, thoroughly clean the concrete and repair or fill any cracks to ensure a smooth, well-prepared surface.

Concrete can take years to fully settle, but interior concrete floors are mostly settled after a year. Shifting and settling can occur throughout your home’s life, but most major settling happens the first few years after the concrete is poured. It’s not uncommon for minor cracks to appear in concrete floors over time—check with a concrete pro to ensure new cracks don’t indicate a structural issue in your home.

Installation typically takes 2-5 days, including preparation, pouring, and curing time.
