Lancellotta Flooring

We took our chances and lifted a ~30 year old carpet in our daughter's room. The hard wood floors needed some work, but mostly just dirty and worn. The carpet padding has deteriorated in places, leaving a black residue. We contacted Angi and had a quote within 24 hours from Bob at Lancellotta Flooring. He was the lowest bid, but we had recommendations from other sources for him, so we hired them and they came the next week. The men were polite and clean, and they worked fast. The floor was sanded and cleaned and had it's first coat on the first day. Bob even came out on a Saturday to get the final coat done. We are very pleased with the results. The floor looks great! We will likely have them return to do more work.

We had new oak hardwood floors installed throughout the first floor of our house and refinished the existing hardwood stairs and upstairs hallway to match. They provided a fair estimate and worked with us on scheduling since we had to move out of the house for this project.

Bob Lancellotta and his assistant came on a very rainy day and I was concerned that they might track in leaves and debris on their feet. They put down rosin paper in their walkway and not only did a BEAUTIFUL job on our bathroom floor, but they were as neat as a pin in cleaning up after the job was completed (in 1 day). I am going to recommend him to my relatives and friends! We are going to have our second bathroom done next. Bob aims to please!!!

work was excellent. The quotation process was kind of informal by email. So if you want a price on fancy letterhead, you won't get it from Bob. But the guy that gives you the quote will be the guy doing the work. He took exactly as much time as he said was required and did nice clean work.

We hired Bob to refinish 2 floors, 1 was to match an existing floor, the color they used was maple and the existing floor color was brown. They splattered stain all over the painted wainscoting as well. when I called Bob to tell him about it he said"I saw pictures of the floor, I think it looks fine. I knew you were going to be a problem from the beginning, just keep your money and we're done. So unhappy with this company, very unprofessional, now we're stuck with a floor that's not right and a mess that we have to fix. Do not hire this company!
