"Rob immediately reached out and phoned me. I asked if it was possible to do the job within the next couple of days and he said he would. He called as he was leaving his last job and then again when he was 15 minutes from my home. He quickly and sufficiently completed the job and charged me the lowest price that he had quoted on the phone prior to service. He even took the time to set up my new TV with WiFi and channels. He left the room as neat and clean as when he started. I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Excellent service."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Mounting a TV can help prevent some damages from occurring, such as water damage. Installing a new flat-screen TV costs between $160 and $375 on average. A local TV mounting contractor can give you the most accurate price for your area and location of the home that you are looking to mount it.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.

Yes, many services include wall mounting for TVs or projectors. Confirm with your installer.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.
